Sri Narsingh Sthan temple

Shri Narsingh Sthan temple
Shri Narsingh Sthan temple

Have lost all the hopes? Visit this page every Thursday to get the blessings of God Narsingh (the 4th incarnation of Lord Vishnu). Thursday is said to be the day of God Narsingh. Photograph placed above is of the deity of Lord Narsingh. If you want download this album click "Sri Narsingh Bhagwan Album". This is a very famous temple and thousands of people visit this temple on every Thursday. I have created this web page for the people who are residing far away from this place or residing far away from India and may not physically visit this temple. NRIs staying abroad may feel in a way similar after they visit a temple by visiting this page and watching "Aartis of God" by playing videos imbeded in this page. God is everywhere and also here so treat this webpage as a web temple.

There is no difference in God's eye for people belonging to different regions. However, it depends on your faith whether you believe in Hindu diety or others. God is one, only people call it by different names.

All the people are loved by the God and he does not differentiate them either on caste or religion basis. In the God's eyes all human beings, and not only human beings, but all living things are same.

This is the question of faith and belief so not only Hindus but followers of any religion world over are invited to visit this page.

All visitors will certainly observe positive changes not only in their thinking or happenings in their life but in every aspect related to their life. Even people who don’t believe in God must visit and see the effect because by doing so they would not loose anything except shading off their ego as Lord Vishnu hate people who live with their false ego.

If you will show faith in God, you will notice a positive change in your life the moment you begin to think about doing it.

Come out of the false ego. At least express your opinion if you found any changes in your life after visiting regularly this web temple for few days or few weeks.Tell the God your desire and observe if there is any progress. Don't ask for materialistic things like draw of lottery or something similar. Your desire may be fullfilled by God in a natural way. Don't expect any magics.

The Brahmin Saint
The Brahmin Saint

Lord Vishnu's aarati

The story about the deity: The graven image is of black color and had been created by cutting black stone. It is said to be brought from Nepal two centuries earlier. Story goes like this: A Brahmin saint had a dream in the night. Lord Vishnu came in his dream and ordered him to bring the idol of God Narsingh from the mountains of Nepal to Hazaribag. He followed the instructions and went to Nepal. He tried to dig the idol lying beneath the stones but mistakenly idol was hit by the spade and a sprinkle of blood came out immediately. He stopped the operation immediately. In the night Lord Vishnu again came in Saint’s dreams and the Saint narrated the whole incidence. Lord Vishnu told him to continue the operation. Next day the Saint again started the work but this time sprinkle was of the milk. Saint carried the idol with him and placed the idol in Narsingh Sthan temple, Hazaribag.

The idol is said to be of 4th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, known as Narsimha avatar.

Narsimha: A combination of half man and half lion, having a human torso and lower body, but with a lion-like face and claws. Prahlada, the great devotee of Vishnu was severely tortured by his father, the demon king Hiranyakashyap. Narasimha (man-lion) emerged out of the pillar and killed Hiranyakashyap. Hiranyakashyap is said to get the boon of immunity from Lord Brahma against the attacks by man, beast or god.

When you say that you believe in god Premsingh, are you referring to the many deities listed above in this Hub or are you referring to a single monotheistic deity, such as Lord God Almightly, Jehovah. Please forgive my ignorance as a Westerner I have little exposure to eastern cultures. I am familiar with Skh religion because many of my fiends are Sikh.

With Utmost Sincerety,

Daniel,

I am happy to have you as a visitor of this page. Your question is very logical. Just to give you an idea about the deities I'd like to tell you that there is no denying of the fact that God is only one. If I question you why different religions have different names for the God, you may reply that we have learnt from our holy book that Christ is God, or Prophet is God, or Lord Vishnu is God depending on their religion. Like wise we have one God but we have different images of the God in our mind so we give him different names. As you have ministers in your cabinet for looking after different departments, we believe that all these deities are only forms of God. You can have faith in any of the deities. Why don't you experiment with this? You are follower of different religion. You just impose your full faith in the deity shown at the top and visit this page every thursday with full faith. You will notice positive changes in your life. But you read first about the deity. I will just say that this deity has helped me under several situations when I foind no way out but he changes the circumstances. There is nothing like miracle, its just your faith and God manages to happen events in most natural way. You ar most welcome to visit this page and get blessings.

premsingh - sometimes we feel a kind of tribal jealousy about religion. our god is our god and we can't understand or approach someone else's god.

thank you for this beautiful hub, premsingh and for pointing out that all paths lead to the same divinity, no matter what you name the path. you have a beautiful philospphy of religion. is that because you are hindu and hindu is just plain beautiful?

thank you for the opportunity to share in the nature of god. to praise god is it's own reward.

thanks Dolores for sparing time and read this hub. You are correct to great extent. Reason is definitely my relegion. I am Hindu and I am proud to be a Hindu. Hindu religion has more tolerance than other religions and we believe in philosophy of love and peace. Its also true that there is only one God but people of different religions have their own imaginations and view their God in different forms and recognize him by different names. After all you've to give your God a different name and different face that get mixed well with your cultural values and emotions.
