For the Love of Money

The O'Jays sung about it, people live and die for it, wars are fought for it, and what is it? It's the love of money. The Bible says "The love of money is the root of all evil", but half of the population would like to be Bill Gates , Oprah, or Donald Trumps. And I don't believe all of the world problems stem from greed or a lack of love. Some evils are just motivated by evil. I would never harm another person in the name of love or money.

Marriages are sent to the graveyard over money - where is the love? I guess fighting over paying the bills trumps love. Before you judge me, see how much love you have for money - Your Love of Money Score. Kept in mind, I'm working for this money. I'm not trying to find love in a billionaire (Gold Digging). I love my work because of the income it brings to do things that I love, and I love to have my own money. Not stability that can be taken a way at a moments notice.

Let's be realistic, we all need money and some want it more then others. I don't blog for the love of it or for pies. I blog as a second source of income. I don't work for food, I want a paycheck which I use to buy food, cars, my house, vacations, and the lifestyle I have grown accustom too. And I don't invest for the love of investing, I want money in return.

I guess I would choose Love over Money if I was pressed, but I want both. Both love and money are necessary to truly enjoy what life has to offer. Sometimes I say "It's only money", but it makes me happy when I get a new contract, or see my Google Adsense skyrocket. Are you happy to earn a few extra bucks? (and don't lie - you are) So, maybe I don't love money, I just like it - a whole lot.
