Is Lucifer God's Wrath?
74Statue of the morning star
The Basics.
So what do we know about the devil / satan/ beezulbub/ lucifer/ The Prince of lies/ The prince of Darkness? It is taught that Lucifer is the creator of all things evil. Some say that Lucifer's name was never Lucifer because "morning star" aka Lucifer was Jesus.
Now before I go ahead please know that I do have faith in God. I believe that God is a loving and forgiving being and also the creator. For those of you religious ones please be aware that my Hub may offend you!
This is my own philosophy that began in my sunday school days. See in Sunday school I was taught that God created the angels before he created us. The angels, as I am aware, knew of Gods existance and worshipped him as such. Then, god had created us without real knowledge of his existance and with free will. Maybe we were Gods little experiment I don't know that's my own speculation, but we were created with a slight advantage over the angels which is; if we wanted to we don't really have to believe in God.
Ok so there's that part out of the way. So God created the angels. Of these angels God had some Arc- Angels. They were Lucifer, Raphael, Micheal, Gabriel, Uriel, Zachariah, and Seraphim. Each angel had a specific job. Lucifer's was to be God's right hand man. Basically when God was busy (and lets face it he's god so of course he always was) Lucifer would do everything for God. Lucifer was Gods first mate if you will.
Now at some point Lucifer got sick of his life of servitude. He wanted to rule the great Kingdom of heaven rather than being the stand in guy. So, Lucifer attempted his take over of the throne.
God vs Lucifer
War against God.
Now some may call it brave, some may call it absolute lunacy, Lucifer had made the decision to fight his own creator. Lucifer had convinced many angels to attempt thwarting the throne of God. Apparently there was a great war, combat amongst angels brother on brother. Some defending the throne of heaven, others attempting to seize it.
Now of course as we all know Lucifer lost that battle. Due to his betrayal to God (and let's face it bigger hearts break worse) God cast out Lucifer and all the angels that opposed Gods ruling heaven. Lucifer and his "comrades" were sent to the lake of fire which we now call hell.
Lucifer was to rule hell and punish the wicked including the angels that fought alongside him, Which brings me to my next point.
Is Lucifer so bad really?
Possibly not a good title for this next part and this where my own philosophy lies. Lucifer wanted to rule heaven. God said no. God cast Lucifer out because of his betrayal. Lucifer now rules hell.
Like I said I was taught that god is loving and forgiving. God loves all of his creations. So would that mean that God still loved Lucifer. Did God not give Lucifer a throne to sit and a kingdom to rule? Sure Lucifer does the dirty work, but the throne is for Lucifer to rule.
Does this not make Lucifer still God's right hand? See God used to punish us with plagues and with other things, when did he stop? Was it when God thought "Hmm well Lucifer could punish the wicked for me?"
I think so. I think God being God is so gracious and so wonderful that he gave Lucifer what he wanted. Which was a kingdom to rule. Sure it's not heaven but it's a kingdom nonetheless. Lucifer was also allowed to continue doing God's work. He punishes the wicked. So why does he have such a bad wrap? No seriously.
Human error or the devil at work?
So this is where it all gets a little tricky and mostly controversial. Heaven is a place of goodness, the paradise of paradises. Hell is a place of terror and punishment. Does that then make earth entirely neutral?
This neutrality would give us humans (you know the guys with the free will) to make CHOICES as to what we do. Eve (garden of Eden) was convinced by Lucifer to eat the fruit of knowledge. Lucifer ENTICED her to. Eve CHOSE to bite the fruit and then convinces Adam to do the same. The meet between Lucifer and Jesus where Lucifer tries to tempt Jesus into turning his back on God. Jesus CHOSE not to do what Lucifer said.
So is it all the devil? Are we all so unable to make a decision without influence? See I think alot of the blame on the devil comes from human error. I once heard a christian man say that people who do drugs, do so because the devil made them. Hmmmm I find that hard to believe. Isn't it just that we misplace our blame rather than be responsible for our own mistakes we blame it on Satan?
I think so. I think it is easier for us humans to believe that someone or something is responsible for the mistakes we make rather than owning up to our own faults and liabilities. I think that we all need to give Lucifer a bit of a break and own up for our own misgivings. Wouldn't that be called repenting?
I'm not asking anyone to agree with me but to take what we know in consideration. Who wrote about the garden of eden? Was that person present? Did that person really know the devil was there or did Eve need an excuse. After all. Adam and Eve were able to talk to God. Would they not have known about Lucifer? Secondly, If God knew that this was Lucifers doing why would he cast Adam and Eve out of the garden?
I could be totally wrong and maybe I am too sympathetic to see that Lucifer really is Bad. Just some things that I have wondered about.
Feel free to comment either way.

Lucifer was definately one of gods Arc angels and was gods right hand man and he was banished from heaven were he sat with god. I agree however that he is now the ruler of this world. We must however take responsibility for our own actions even though no doubt Lucifer encourages us to do bad things.
If you ask me the bible is full of shit
Sanctus Vesania Thankyou for dropping by. To be honest with you I have never let the bible rule my life. I have only allowed the teachings of my vicar. I think that all people with a christianic faith need to keep in mind that the bible was written by man and is therefore flawed and imperfect. Not to mention that none of us were around to ensure that it was 100% truth. The bible is full of mistakes and contradictions. I personally find that alot was lost in translation from Aramaeic to every other language.
You are entitled to believe what you like, if you live your life with the bible at your side then good for you I hope it sees you through your dark hours and that this book is of comfort to you.
You are right no man knows how many angels or rankings of angels there are. I persnally believe that Lucifer was an angel as teachings throughout history say as such. Again we have to go back to the flawed and imperfect teachings of man.
My Vicar has always said that "God is all forgiving, his most loved started war against Him and even though casting him out still gave the morning star what he wanted most." Thankyou for your comment.
Jayne thanks for reading. Sometimes I do think that Lucifer is feeling that Hell is not enough for him as our world has become more and more cruel. Maybe man has simply made the earth Lucifers playground I don't know. I do agree we should take responsibility for our own actions "the devil made me do it" is simply just not good enough.
Quootar thanks for reading. I don't neccesarily agree with you. I believe the bible is flawed but not neccesarily the way you deemed it. It could be full of lies we weren't there to oversee that everything that was written was truth BUT there are some excellent moral things to learn within it.
Thanks again for stopping by.
wasn't the bible written by a pagan
HAIL TO THE GREAT SPIRITS
umm it is true that the bible was written by man but it was god using the man as an instrument to write such things how would man know of such holy things anyways i do believe that some things in the bible are too much but i also believe that the bible is the truth how would we know of our holy father??
Lucifel rules!
Yeah, Lucifel, not "Lucifer" which is a modified name by the church. He rules with his divine light and is a far greater god than that other one upstairs.
Love!
Quootar thanks again for your comments. No the bible was not written by pagans. The only common factors of pagan faith and christian faith is the 25th of December and the tree that goes along with it. According to what I have read in hisory books NOT the bible Jesus was actually born in July. However, when "converting" pagans to christianity they kept the celebratory days the same in order to keep the transition easier. Apparently.
Lugen I appreciate your comment. I guess what you say may hold some truth that is where FAITH and faith alone lies. we can only have faith that these men told the truth.
From my own philisophical perspective, I don't believe that any being on this planet does not see that we have a creator. I personally believe that man meddled with it all and built a belief structure upon it. Christians have God Muslims have Allah Buddhists have Buddha The vikings had Oden the Greeks had Zeus etc etc etc. Throughout history man has realised that there is something bigger than us out there.
My vicar once told me to question everything as it will help strengthen my faith in God and of course he was right. I am honestly not saying one way or the other I am simply pointing out the possibility that maybe the wrath of God sits within the hands of Lucifer. But that's just me.
Lucifel, You are entitled to believe what you will as is the rest of us, if you choose to worship the morning star then, that is your choice, my faith tells me that you will be forgiven for it anyway. Thankyou for stopping by.
have you not seen the davinchi code they say the man that wrote the bible was only baptized as a christian on his death bed and also if god is all loving why does so many bad things happen if you ask me god is pure evil and Lucifer is the good guy
now let me tells you something and don't argue did you know that no witchcraft is evil the evil use of these types of spells are called sorcery so just so were clear witches dont serve demons

If you're wanting to go by the Bible then there are already several errors.
You wrote:
So God created the angels. Of these angels God had some Arc- Angels. They were Lucifer, Raphael, Micheal, Gabriel, Uriel, Zachariah, and Seraphim. Each angel had a specific job.
We don't know for sure who all the angels are, but if we're referring to the seven arch-angels, Lucifer was never one of them.
You wrote: Lucifer's was to be God's right hand man. Basically when God was busy (and lets face it he's god so of course he always was) Lucifer would do everything for God. Lucifer was Gods first mate if you will.
Truth:
Lucifer was the king of Babylon, king Nebuchednezzar. Now, if you're referring to Satan; Satan was:
"A liar and murderer since the beginning" and "No truth was found in him" - John 8:44
"Formed as the crooked serpent" - Job 26:13
"Created as the waster to destroy" - Isaiah 54:16
You wrote:
God cast out Lucifer and all the angels that opposed Gods ruling heaven. Lucifer and his "comrades" were sent to the lake of fire which we now call hell.
Truth:
God never cast out 'Lucifer' because Lucifer was never in Heaven. Satan has not been cast into hell, yet; but is the ruler of this current world (age).
You wrote: Lucifer was to rule hell and punish the wicked including the angels that fought alongside him, Which brings me to my next point.
Truth:
Lucifer was one of many rulers of Babylons. Satan was to never rule over Hell, but is the ruler/god of this world/age.
