An honest Review of Mohanlal's new film Madambi. Prepared after seeing the movie on the first day

Puthen Purakal Gopalakrishna Pillai alighted here in kerala on 4^th July with his team mates. This feudal Land lord is actually getting a warm welcome by the crowd here. Though the story is the same old one in which hero is hated by everyone and get back all his image at climax throug another story, Mohanlal’s acting makes it different. It’s after a long break Lal is getting such a suitable role in which he can excel with his inborn skills. The story could have been spoilt if the brother role was done boringly but we have to say that Ajmal has tried his level best to do that role. Kavya madhavan is known to be the Heroine but actually there is no role for her in the story actually it was an extra burden to the producer, even a junior artist can do that role quite well.

The movie was released in 51 centers by Vaisakha release. The show started with a typical Mohanlal opening, at many centers it started before 10 and is widely accepted by the families. It’s a very good family entertainer.

It seems that the Director B. Unnikrishnan has studied much after his first film Smart city which turned to be a flop. And he has done much home work. Ther is nothing unnecessary in this film that is the main highlight. Another main attraction of the Film is the short Dialogues by Lal which has already got enough applause by the crowd. The comedy part is handled well by young talent Suraj Venjaramoodu and his Vetaran partner Jagathi sreekumar and innocent. Even Mohanlal has made his presence in the comedy parts by his small small dialogues. Gopalakrishna Pillai is also running a tuition center and taking Malayalam classes another part of story. We expect an extra character at the end like the one in narasimham done by Mammotty , who made it memorable and unforgettable by his supreme performance. But there was no such entry and the director decided to end it in another way.

The first half of the movie is a real entertainer and goes rapidly which contains many super dialogues and that all. The second half seems to be a little dragging with centiments and serious parts of the story. Sidhique once again proves that he is the most glamerous villain in Malayalam film industry. Script of the film has the depth to make viewers to watch the film till the end.

The highlights of the film are Lal-Lalitha scenes,the exciting short dialogues, good script , Suraj-Jagathi comedy,Lal-Jagathy-Innocent scenes and Sidhiques villain. Ajmal and mallika kapoor also tried their level best in their re-entry .But we have to say that Ajmal's dialogue presentation was horrible. Speaking about the songs the film consists of 3 songs of which the 3rd one has become already a hit. Saying about the other two, they are OK.

And there is a Super Dialogue for fans “ Enikku meethe Parunthum Parakkilla” , by Lal, as Mammootty’s 'parunthu' is going to be released on next week.

All together saying this movie is a real entertainer and is sure to be a hit.

I think we can give 7/10 for this movie.
