However, the method of making money on the internet this way works only when you are actively participating in these programs. Although you may get the a lot of money easily and fast, your income stops coming in the day you stop working.

The main idea of creating your own website is for the regular income over the longer term. You can register your very own domain and web hosting for your website, but if you are a newbie and want to experience how building a website is like, you can try for some free web services sites such as Blogspot, WordPress or JackBook initially. They offer easy to use customizable layout without you even require any programming skills such as HTML and Java. But ultimately to be successful, your own domain works best. Although it takes a lot of efforts and time to build a website, it also requires substantial amount of marketing skills and knowledge to work. Once successful, the pay off could be enormous.

As can be seen, one of the most noticeable differences between both the methods is that the second method of making money on the internet generates you money when the website is successful. The money keeps pouring in whether you work or not over the long term whereas for the first method, although you get fast money initially, the money stops the day you stop working.
