Making Money from Blogging
62
There are a lot of web sites and blogs out there that will tell you it is easy to make money from a blog. The truth is, if you know how web marketing and SEO works, you can make more than enough to take care of yourself per month. However, if you want to do it right, and bring in a long-lasting income, you have to exert some hard work, effort and determination to make sure your blog has fresh, evergreen content that will last long into the future.
The first step to a successful money-making blog is to know what you are writing about. Granted, there are a lot of bloggers out there that write on whatever comes to mind, throw in a bunch of keywords and are able to make a lot of money while those keywords are popular. However, over time as traffic dwindles, they find that income slowly trickling down to nothing.
By writing about subjects realistically and making sure your content is sound on the subject, you ensure not only high search engine rankings but that Internet users are going to keep coming back to your page time and time again. This type of continued traffic is what keeps your blog entry earning money long-term.
If you focus on making money right, you will see growth from your blog as opposed to just simple earnings here or there. By taking what you write seriously, not just using it as a filler and keyword stuffing, you will gain traffic, back links and other financial gains from the material you are writing.
It helps if you are passionate about a subject, because you can bring a flair to the content in ways someone just writing from research cannot. These types of articles are what will bring people back to see what you are writing about, and they will take a vested interest because they see you are serious about what you blog.

I agree with Earth Angel! Great hub with lots of good advice. Thank you for sharing regards Zsuzsy
Agreed. So many bloggers focus so heavily on search engine optimization that they forget that , ultimately, the content is for the readers, not the search engine spiders.
Is blogging different form hubbing? or it is another side of a coin?
I think the same idea is applicable in writing hub pages.
I'm quite new with the whole "blogging" process but I've heard a little bit about what blogging can actually do for you. Your Hub provides a guideline that’s short, simple and gets right to the point. Thank you!
Great resources! I started blogging a couple of years ago, but want to get serious about making some income from my blogs.
