Making Money With Hubpages

Do you use Hubpages to make some money for yourself? If not, shame on you! Hubpages are a great way to post your ideas around the internet and a great way to make money, and let me tell you - it's not just Google Adsense that you make money from. Anyway, I hope you learn something from my Hubpage.

The most common way for people to make money through Hubpages is through Google Adsense. But there are tips and tricks out there that help you stay ahead of the rest. It's no secret really, you need to get more traffic (visitors) to your page to increase the chances of getting an ad clicked on. That's what will get you ahead of the rest, I'm sorry if you wanted to hear about a piece of code that if you put into the code Google gave you... It'll give you 100,000 clicks (meaning $100,000's) automatically. But I'm sorry, making money off the internet isn't hard if done correctly... But you have to put some work into it.

* Make sure when you edit your hubs to set your ad settings on high. The more ads you display the more money you can earn.

Another way of earning some income with Hubpages is by promoting it. Yep just by telling people about Hubpages you earn. All you need to do is sign up.

Hubpages will give you a special link that you can use to get people to sign up. When you successfully sign up others you will earn 10% of what their Hubs generate from how often the Hub is shown.

Another way for you to make money from your Hubpages, is from 'affiliate programs' if you're new to this term... let me explain. An owner of a product wants more traffic to his/her site and more sales... So they start an 'affiliate program' to get people like you promoting their products. But it's not entirely their benfit though, because you get a commission. So how do you sign up for these 'affiliate programs', SIMPLE! You just need to create an account at ClickBank because that is the best place to find an affiliate program for your Hubpages topic. After you've done that, don't just create a Hubpage that is based around the affiliate program. What interests you? Write about whatever interests you (but not what happened at work today, write about your hobbies and/or interests). Make one Hubpage about one topic that interests you, and just write good content to place on your Hubpage... The traffic will come, the next thing you do is promote an affiliate program without seeming like you're promoting it. Say something like "If you want more information on fishing for trout, click here!" and don't say something like "I have came across a great product with the total cost being $9.95, it helped me fish for trout... So it'll help you! Click here!" That's a big no no.

Works similar to Adsense, all you do is sign up for the affiliate programs -

They will give you a unique ID, edit your affiliate settings and paste the ID's for both affiliate programs where it asks you to paste them. You are now ready to go.

When you're done you can add eBay & Amazon Capsules which display products that are relevant to your Hubpages topic.

Good question! Well, I thought to myself... What good is this information if you don't even have the visitors to click on the ads or win an auction on eBay. So that's what I did with the rest of the Hub, read on to find out how to get the visitors to your Hub so that they can click on ads, buy the affiliate products you're promoting, win an auction on eBay, and buy a book from Amazon.

You must think I'm joking... But I'm not! I've based a whole Hub talking about how I did it! And it's not about posting your Hub to sites such as Digg etc.

A great way - or the best way to get visitors to your Hub is simply to write good content for your topic. Many people fail to understand this, but hopefully after me telling you this... You can add tags to your hubpage that are related to your hubpage. People then search for there specefic wants or needs, so they type in a search. And if they search for something related to you, you get more traffic... But only if you add extra tags... Give this some thought.
