The most awaited showdown of the fall. It’s Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao on the ring? Who’s gonna knock down and who’s gonna win this fight?

Pacquiao is having his training in Baguio with coach Freddie Roach with some of his sparmates and some of his people. Pacquiao, who is one of the great boxers Philippines has ever produced. A legend in the World Boxing history and a hero to his fellow Filipinos is going to fight against Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 14, 2009 according to Bob Arum.

"It's done," said Arum, who was back at work in his Las Vegasoffice after a vacation in London and Italy and attending a wedding in Israel. "While I was away I reached a verbal agreement with each side. Pacquiao committed to the fight this weekend and Cotto the week before while I was in Israel. I was on the phone all the time trying to get this done."

"But everything is agreed or I wouldn't say what I am saying," Arum said. "The weight, the percentages, the guarantees -- it's all agreed to."

Arum believes that this fight is going to be another memorable fight this year.

"I'm really excited because it's a real fight. These are two real warriors," Arum said. "Whichever way this fight goes, I think it's going to be a classic because of the way these guys fight. There will be a lot of engagement. They're great fighters. Cotto and Pacquiao are gutty guys. If you want blood and action and excitement, this is the fight."

This game is a bit of advantage for Cotto, he had started his training few weeks ahead of time before Manny does. He’s doing his training in the field of America and adjusted with the surroundings. Furthermore, he’s undeniably bigger than Pacquiao. So what do you think?

I’m always in favor of Pacquiao, yet Cotto is so serious with this game. There are some issues in Puerto Rico that Cotto has to erase and the only key is to defeat Pacquiao. So if I’m going to ask myself again… Pacquiao or Cotto? Hmmm… I’m still going for Pacquiao… He’s the Philippine Pride!
