Pac-man vs. Junito

Manny "Pac-man" Pacquiao Won against Miguel "Junito" Cotto

Who won Pacquiao vs Cotto fight? Pacman!

I've heard a lot of comments about Mayweather fighting smaller boxers (a little odd :D) and Pacquiao against bigger opponents (whew!). Well, anyway it's just some people's opinion, nothing personal though! Well to be honest I am very proud of our 'Pambansang Kamao' Manny Pacquaio partly because I am a filipino, (well to boast, I know a lot of people from all over the world who doesn't have a filipino blood yet they're still betting for Pac-man, though I know it's not a fight between countries however it's still a reason that any filipino can take pride for :D) and simply because he is one of the best boxers all over the world.

And another bout is about to rise, Manny "Pac-man" Pacquiao vs. Miguel "Junito" Cotto, who is your bet? Who's gonna win? Well, nobody knows! It's going to be an exciting event, and Manny would be in great challenge facing the World's Welterweight defending Champion Cotto on November 14, 2009 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas according to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.

“When these guys get into the ring, there will be a confrontation. People who watch know they’ll be entertained. This will sort of be an edge-of-your-seat kind of a fight. It’s an all-action, all-out battle where guys are going to demonstrate toughness, courage and resilience.

“It’s definitely not going to be a boxing exhibition where two guys are running circles around each other. There are some fights that should properly be called boxing matches, but this is one where it’s totally accurate to call it a fight.” -Bob Arum

“The significance of this fight is if you know the body of work of these two fighters,” Arum said.

Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KOs) will receive more than 50 percent of the money. Yet the percentage split was not disclosed. But what delays the showdown is the contract weight.

Pacquio preferred to fight with weight ranging from 130 (or as low as possible) to 144 weight limit thus he asked Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs), a titleholder at 147 pounds to fight with him at 143 weight limit, but Cotto's trainer said he couldn't safely fight below 145. They however agreed upon a 145-maximum weight.

The match can be watched live on HBO pay per view.

And Talking about HBO-pay-per-view, this will definitely earn much than that of Pacquaio-Hatton fight, since Cotto is a puerto rican and closer to the heart of America, surely a lot of US based boxing fanatics will definitely watch the said bout (and that's a lot of money!!!) :D

No turning back, so we all just need to wait for the said bout, no matter what happens I am still for PAC-MAN. How about you? Write your comments below guys!!!
