Mark Shurtleff was born in Utah. He learned about respect at a younge age, specifically for his community, state and country. With frequent family road trips to Washington D.C. at a young age, he developed a great sense of loyalty for America and it's laws. Mark is the current Attorney Genreal of the state of Utah, and has been since 2001. He attended Brighton High School, Brigham Young University, University of Utah College of Law and University of San Diego School of Law. He is married with five children. He is fluent in Spanish and is also an Eagle Scout.

Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff has joined uPlej to support his favorite charity. He has chosen to support The Children's Miracle Network, a charity based in Utah.
