Niche Markets

I recently attended the World Internet Summit. What an amazing event. I learned so much about Internet marketing and I'm going to try and pass some of this on to you. How many of you have a product or business that you would like to make better? How many have a job you go to everyday and hate it and would like to be and entrepreneur? How many of you are trying to figure out how to make it better as well as to market it? I know I'm one of those people. Let's start teaching about Internet marketing. OK so where should I start. Well, let's start at the beginning. First you need to find what a hot niche market. A niche is what you're interested in for doing business. It's best if you try and find something you know about or are passionate about. Try to narrow your niche market. By narrow I mean say your interested in Tennis. If you look up tennis you'll find tennis balls, clothes, rackets etc. so by narrowing your going to pick one of those instead of just tennis. Where can you find niche market ideas, where of course the Internet. Also watch TV- YES I said watch TV. Listen to what is being talked about whether it be fashion, books, or something else. Pick several areas or products to work with and start your research. What do you look for? You're going to start by looking on Google, Yahoo. Bing etc. to see how many times a day, minute etc. your niche is being looked for. Once you find that out then it's time to get to work. Start thinking about what you would like to call your website. Then start researching places to buy your domain name and your host. They do not have to be with the same company. OK, now it's up to you go out there and do these things I've told you about and check back and I will have more information for you and more tasks to take you further into your Internet business.
