Make The Change

Markham Bootcamp is not like any other fitness boot camp that one may have heard of. The coaches are certified personal trainers whose goal is to help participants lose weight and sculpt their bodies. This is not done by using negative reinforcement. The Camp and the coaches use a holistic approach to meet the goals of each individual who joins the program.

The growing popularity of this program is primarily due to its unique approach to fitness, exercise, and nutrition. Participants are coached and taught using encouragement and positive reinforcement. Each individual in the group has a designated peer partner and the coaches provide all of the services of a personal trainer as they walk through the group and provide individualized instruction as necessary.

Anyone Can Join

The exercise portion of the camp is designed for individuals of all fitness levels. It is results driven and participants are given opportunities through the exercise period to focus on individual target areas for sculpting and toning. Individuals can attend the camp for up to six weeks to receive exercise and fitness training that lasts approximately an hour per session.

Prior to entering the boot camp an individual will meet with a personal coach. They will discuss the individual's fitness level, the desired weight loss of the person, and their current eating habits. The coach will design a program that includes exercise and nutrition in order to help achieve the goals that are set in as short a timeframe as desired.

Prior to starting the exercise program participants complete a series of stretches. These stretching exercises are designed to help a person gain flexibility and be able to perform the exercise routines without being injured. Following an exercise session the group then completes a series of yoga exercises that serve to relax the body and increase flexibility in those areas that have been toned.

The schedule of exercises and the cycle through which they are performed is unique. This series of exercises increases the cardio at a more efficient rate than regular cardio exercises. It is also designed to significantly increase the metabolism and burn fat faster. When used with the nutritional guides that are provided, most individual see results soon after starting training.

Change It Up

One of the reasons people stop exercising is that they get bored. Doing the same exercises on a daily basis can soon cause burn out and when a person reaches a weight plateau the point of exercising seems lost. Knowing this, the Bootcamp Workout regularly changes the regimen of exercises so that individuals can stay on track and focused. By exercising different parts of the body on a regular basis many people do not experience a plateau with their diet program.

Participants of the program are coached and trained by certified personal trainers who base the program on providing the type of support and knowledge that will help a person to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle, as well as lose the weight that they want in an effective way. In addition, there are training classes that help individuals with planning nutritionally appropriate meals and creating menus that will compliment their exercises and waistline.
