Medifast is a popular weight loss program featuring meal replacements in the form of shakes, protein bars, soups, hot drinks and other items.

Since you can order their products online, it makes sense to keep a look out for Medifast coupon codes that you can use to get a discount on your purchases. And fortunately, Medifast usually has some pretty regular specials running.

The on-going deal for Medifast orders is the "get two weeks free" promotion, which is a deal they offer when you sign up for the VIP plan. The VIP plan is Medifast's auto-ship program. After the first two months, you'll get a continuing discount on monthly orders (5%).

To use this discount, just click the link to become a V.I.P. Member and get 2 weeks of meals FREE and then enter "JoinNow" in the coupon box on the check-out page.

Their auto-ship plan is also very easy to cancel and/or adjust right on their website, so I usually recommend it even if you aren't planning on staying on Medifast for very long.

The "get two weeks free" promotion works best if you are planning on sticking with Medifast for at least two months as you get one free week per month.

The savings works out to roughly $200 in total. The only drawback is that this discount code only applies to the Variety packs. So you can't pick out your own freebies, but if you're happy with letting Medifast pick your selections, then it's probably the best savings and it is a decent way to get familiarized with the different types of meals that Medifast has to offer.

If you prefer not to order Medifast variety packs, you can customize your orders and still get a discount. Medifast frequently runs a $50 off special which takes $50 off any order priced over $275.00. An average monthly order will come out to about $300, so if you place an order for a full month, it will be easy to reach $275.00.

So far, Medifast has run this discount in both January and March in 2009, so I expect it to be on-going, but the discount codes for this deal are rotating so check back here for new codes when you need one. I'll keep this updated as they change. The current code expires January 31st, 2010.
