men with nail extensions

how many men have wanted to grow there nails long so they look more feminine.
a few years ago i decided to go out and have my nails done for a party i was going to go to, i asked the nail technician if there would be a pproblem having my nails done and she said no as long as i did not have very wide nails whilst i was having them done i asked if she had many men have there nails done and she told me i was the first when they were done she asked if i wanted them left natural or polished i said i want them polished as i wanted them to stand out after paying for them to be done i had her do them a pale pink then she asked if i would like my toes painted the same i thought why not at leastr they will match.
i was flying home to england a few days later and decided to keep them as they were but i broke one of them so when i was in englandi went into a beuty salan and asked if they could fix the damaged one the girl said yes no problem then she added she wished more men would take the time to look after there nails as most men dont bother i asked if she had ever done any other mens nails and she told me yes quite a few but no where near as many females.
i have to say even though i dident have the nails that long they took a lot of getting use to typing was a problem to start with but as soon as i found out you can type with the nails hitting the keys insted of your fingers i was ok, also trying to tie knots is much harder as well and to start with even though there are no nerve endings in the nails i could feel them all the time which made me feel great i did notice very few people noticed i had had them extended.
any one else out there who has had there nails extended in the past or has them extended now please leave a coment i never got round to taking a photo of my nails with the extensions but now i have been thinking about it i may go and have them done again. regards paul

Hi Paul! I thought your hub deserved commentary. I wore my natural nails long and in a French Manicure for about a year and then had a full set of pink and white acrylic nails put on about 6 months ago and have had them constantly ever since. I've enjoyed them because they don't break like my natural nails used to. I go for fills every two weeks at my favorite day spa (I get me eyebrows waxed too). I wear my acrylics in a pretty long length and have feminine looking small hands and long fingers so they look really nice on me. I prefer a squared-off shape for my nails. The fashion magazines are saying that long acrylic nails are out of style now and that short natural round nails are in. The real world says otherwise as the day spa where I go is full of ladies getting acrylic nail services, both young and old alike. There aren't too many guys wearing long nails, at least not that I've seen. I can gaurantee you I'm the only man at the spa receiving acrylic nail services! The ladies who do my nails are great and they treat me as they would any female client. And they do great work on my nails! I occasionally get a pedicure too but only rarely wear color on my toes, usually red. I'm into more than just nails. All my clothing is womens and I carry a purse and wear heels all the time. All of this expresses my feminine side which I identify more closely with than my masculine side. I do LOVE football though! Few men will ever know the true pleasure of shopping for clothes and shoes and really enjoying it. I don't do full cross-dressing and don't present myself as a woman, just a man with some feminine features and beautiful feminine clothing. I hope more men will allow themselves to be who they really are inside and express their feminine side if it exists within them. I enjoy reading about other guys experiences with feminine fashion, long nails and so on. My experiences with the public are quite good and I rarely get a finger pointed at me. There are times when people are going to stare or do a double-take but that's life. Our eyes are naturally drawn to difference. I think there are many women who resent men in female clothing. I suppose there are many different reasons for this but I have received plenty of compliments from women on my nails, outfits and purse so I know there are many women who also appreciate this side of a man. Clothes have no gender so everyone should wear whatever they want. Hopefully society will come around to the concept of men expressing true fashion freedom but it will take time. I choose not to wait because I don't need anyone's permission or approval to be who I am. I say let them point and laugh, it doesn't matter and they can't change me. I hope you will try long nails again. You will get used to them with time. I did and I can do anything with them. They're a permanent part of me and I'm so glad to have them. Long live long nails!

Nail extensions is something I have been intrigued by for some time. I told my wife was going to have a manicure, and she said it was fine. However she wasn't thrilled when I came home with the extensions done in a French polish. She tolerated, it however and I took them off a couple of weeks later. A couple of months later I had them done again, and kept them on for three weeks. After removing them this time my wife said she doesn't want me to do it again.
I found the look very appealing, and the process fascinating. I didn't have them extremely long and could still type with my fingertips. However I did from time to time try typing with just the nail tips to see if longer extensions would be a problem. I also found the sound they made as they tapped things very distinctive and unique.
If my wife goes out of town for a weekend I may do it again. It'll be with a ruby red polish, just to see how feminine I can make my hands.
