This cars has a 5 speed automatic transmission and the reason for that is because the 7 speed one was allot more complex and used allot more parts making the car heavier. This car's tag price is $495,000 and yet the demand was so big that Mercedes had to increase the production time until 2009 changing their plans of making only 500 copies.
