Miami Clubs

I remember when I first stepping into one of the many Miami clubs.

I was about 17, finishing up high school. Very nervous with girls. Very nervous. Did I mention I was very nervous with girls? :)

My buddy Buddy (yes that's his name) calls me up, "Duddde, you have got to hang out with us tonight. Guess where we're going."

Me: "Umm.. to a party."

Buddy: "Naaah man - guess again!"

Me: "Umm.. to a mall?"

Buddy: "C'mon bro, be real. We're hitting up.. wait for it... a CLUB."

Me: "A... club? How're we getting in?"

Buddy: "Leave it up to me bro. We're going take it over! There's gonna be girls there. And I know you're single. Well, we're going to take care of that for sure haha!"

Me: "Gulp."

So I get nervously dressed. I'm pretty sure I wore two different socks, but hey it's going to be a dark club right?

As I'm sitting in my bedroom listening to music I hear this booming sound system playing "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot. Yup, it's Buddy. I hurridly get my house keys, turn everything off in my room, and spray Aqua di Gio about 3 or 4 hundred times all over me.

I go outside and he screams, "Let's do this!!!" I jump in and he's flying down the streets and what felt like 267 miles per hour. I'm pretty sure G-forces had me attached to the car seat. I also believe we passed the speed of sound, although due to my friend's prior pigging out on Taco Bell I can assure you we didn't pass the speed of smell.

We arrive at the club. Like a pair of Miami spys we had to sneak around the club to the back entrance. At precisely 11:17pm we were instructed to walk in alongside a bouncer and ask no questions and say nothing. This we did.

So we're in. Unbelievable, the lights are amazing. The women even moreso.

This was the beginning of my Miami clubs adventure.
