Religion V.S Philosophy
50belief V.S mind
Belief V.S Reason
Philosophy and religion are almost considered as enemies against each other, and this is due to many causes make them in both distinguished.
Religion starts out from fixed points placed over discussion exactly like axioms which if we stop arguing about, we will never move on thinking, like : 1+1=2 if we stop here disputing to understand why we got 2 this means we will never move on calculating.
The undisputable issues in religion are that God exists although we can't prove concretely His existence , and that He loves as notwithstanding our pains and sufferance…and that Devil is evil, his hatred towards us moves him to destroy everyone of us with pleasures and rebellion against God….also there's Hereafter and all raising….
These points in religion are above dispute, as if we stop aruing about proving God's existence we will never live in peace at all, as our lives will not suffice to prove such realities, this is why it's better to invest time and live under the light of God's word if one is seeking to lead peaceful and meaningful life .
While philosophy, in its strict sense, is that ceaseless movement of tide & ebb in mind that accepts every direction, which means, even the argumentation of axioms themselves ,to wit, if we say
1+1=2 here we can in philosophy prove why….
So, the danger that menaces a philosopher is when he returns to axioms in religion to prove them, and that's quite impossible because those are supernatural and metaphysical realities can not be fixed by mind or experimentation, and no matter how we philosophize in religion we will not reach certainties, this is why we must take for granted that what God and His word is the right and then follow His guidance .
Finally, one can feel obviously that his life gets better in religion, while gets more tired and complicated in philosophy.
