#2 of 18 MLM Network Marketing Success Course-Why 97% fail
62(02) = Why 97% OF PEOPLE IN NETWORK MARKETING FAIL:
One of the tools to be successful is to know why so many people
fail so you may avoid those pitfalls as well as learning to stay
away from those people that are negative.
*people joining after hearing a lot of blue sky and hype then sit
back and wait for someone to knock on their door and ask if they
could please buy whatever they are selling or to join their group.
This never happens which is why dealers end up with a garage full of product.
*Your upline gives you virtually no good advice. Sometimes that is
because they joined 20 minutes before you did and have no idea of what
to do. Even if they are successful in the business they often do
not know how to translate their success into a program others can
understand. Sometimes they purposely do nothing to help their
downline to succeed. I don't understand this at all.
*the company often has the same problem. An entrepreneur that was
very successful in someone else's company cannot translate his or
her success into information someone else can use. This is very
common.
*new people often expect others to do the work for them.
*new people often are lazy.
*new people often are not willing to take advantage of available
training from their company or from other sources.
*new people often like to think they are entrepreneurs but still
maintain their 9 to 5 mentality.
*new people often believe the negative information put out by the
news media. They rarely understand that a poor economy instead of
being the worst time to try it is the best time.
*they have a list of excuses why their failure is someone else's
fault.
*after putting in from $100.00 up to $1,000.00, or more, to join a company
they have buyer’s remorse and think they made a great mistake.
Their business acumen is such that they do not understand that
opening a store would likely cost them a minimum of $100,000.00 and
do not realize that the majority of people doing that fail in the
first year and 95% of them do not make it to their fifth year.
*they believe the fake experts that the day of network marketing is
Over rather than on a huge upswing.
*they really do not believe in multi-level marketing, network
marketing or direct marketing (all are the same thing).
*they were told that everything is virtually automatic and they
have almost nothing to do. They do not understand that if that
were true then why would any company need them.
*RETENTION: the average distributor last 90 days in any new network marketing venture. This is one of the biggest causes of sponsor failures. They do not know how to retain there downline. (See session #3.)
*some people are so negative they can find something wrong with
anything.
*they do not realize that success or failure is rarely, "out there"
as it is almost always Between a person's ears.
There are many other reasons people fail but the preponderance of
people fail because of one or several of the above reasons. There
is no real reason for anyone to fail.
For instance, I am:
*entirely missing my left foot.
*missing a substantial portion of my right foot.
Actually I am not missing them at all. The parts are in pickle
jars in the basement of the Fresno Veterans Administration Hospital.
*I have no balance.
This is not surprising to most of my friends. They’ve thought I’ve been unbalanced for years.
*I have to walk holding onto someone or to something such as a wall
or a rail.
*I cannot get out and meet people on my own.
*internally, I am deteriorating.
*I have been a type 1 critical diabetic for 46 years.
*I am 73 years old.
*I am 100% blind.
*Other than those reasons I am in fine shape for someone in the shape I’M IN.
1. I do understand why some people decide they can not succeed but I have little sympathy for them because success and the achievement of their dreams are relatively easy if they make a little effort.
As I write on my computer by talking to it you may find some strange words. Sometimes words that are pronounced identically often come out incorrectly. When the computer reads back to me it sounds perfect to me. It usually takes the correct word but, occasionally, it mixes them up period These words such as to too two, break brake, there their, Sun Son, Iraq I rack, I scream ice-cream as well as others. Apologies for any interpretation you may have to make.
I will help anyone achieve their dream and put them on the path to financial freedom in the company they are in now or in any company they are planning on joining and mentor them for life at no charge.
As I read the above again I find I should emphasize things more strongly.
Success is entirely a matter of attitude. If you decide you will, "try" you are doomed to failure. Saying, "I'll try" gives you a built in excuse and a fallback position for failure. You are doomed to failure in that case. It is self fulfilling prophecy and it almost always becomes true.
The only thing you say in any new situation is, "I will". Does that guarantee your success? Of course not but it greatly increases the odds in your favor.
Years ago there was a great salesman whose name really was Ben Matlock. Every day regardless of where he was after breakfast he had a little ritual. He could be in a diner or in the dining room of a fancy hotel. When breakfast was over and he was ready to go he would slam his hand on the table and say:
"Today I will be a success.
Today I will sell.
Today I will be a success.”
He said it and a clear strong voice and every day he did sell and every day he was a success. The ritual revved him up and got him going. These types of things seem silly until you realize they work.
Ben died anyway but he was a success every day of his life.
Are you guaranteed success? Of course not. You are guaranteed the opportunity to become successful. You are guaranteed the opportunity to achieve your dreams.
Many as, "what if I fail? Will I'd be a failure? Could be. If you fail in anything you want to do and quit the field you are a failure. If you get up and try again you are not a failure. It is that simple. If you decide you are a failure then it is a sure thing you are or will be. If you decide you will be a success than the odds of your being one are strongly in your favor.
