How to convert 3gp (mobile video format) files to AVI or other compatible formats

3G is not an unfamiliar term to most of us. It stands for third generation networks and used for high-speed mobile data delivery over cellular networks. it allows us to send and receive bandwidth-intensive information such as high quality audio, video, and web data on-demand.The new mobile phone video file format is known as 3GP and files are shown with extensions using *.3gp, *.3gpp and *.3gpp2.
3GPP, 3GPP2 are the new worldwide standard for the transmission of multimedia over 3rd generation, high-speed wireless networks.

Most of the users of the mobile phones use their phones to record video clips and want these files to store in the hard disks of their computer for watching with the help of Windows media player. Some of the users may be interested to upload these clips to sites like Youtube etc. However, they have to convert these files first to compatible formts like avi or mpg as windows media player can not play 3gp files directly. I use the 100% free online converter to converter the AVI to 3gp. It has free and paid version. For free version you do not need to register. You need to have a valid email address to use this service.
