We're approaching the time of the year when couples decide to marry. This event can be one of the most important events in a couples life as well as one of the most expensive. Here are a few tips to help you save money on your Dream Wedding while getting the most out of it.

A Brides Wedding Dress can be a large expense with an average price running around $2000, and if you're like most Brides you have a fixed budget. Therefore when buying your Wedding Dress look into Discount Bridal Services and other Discount Retailers which offer Wedding Dresses At Large Discounts.

If you're not looking to keep your Wedding Dress you can also rent your Wedding Dress from many Bridal Boutiques that offer this service; the can result in you saving hundreds to thousands of dollars. Realize that a $2000 Wedding Dress can cost from $100 to $200 to make so finding a reputable discount outlet can save you a bundle.

Don't go the traditional route when buying your Bridesmaid Dress, check the Formal Section of your Department Store. You can usually find the exact make of dress that is not normally advertised for weddings as you would find at a Bridal Shop for much less.

For your Wedding Photos hire a photographer that offers a set fee and that will guarantee a set minimum number of photos for a specified number of hours. Also see if the photographer will develop the photos for you, and make sure you get the negatives so that you can create enlargements or have copies made of any of the photos that you may want at a later time.

Go to a party store for your wedding invitations instead of a Card Shop this can save you a bundle. You will also be able to find many personalized items for your wedding guest.

I would agree with you aneliehub, but the largest expense usually falls on the Brides side. Especially since from my experiences the family of the Bride seems to step in assuming a large amount of the cost. Also since all the places that specialize in weddings always seem to charge more on the Brides Items then the Grooms.
