Earth is a wonderful planet which has given birth to many living beings and organisms. Love and care is a special gift to most of the living creatures here, especially when it comes to mother's care and affection. Love, affection, and care given by a mother cannot be repaid in anyway. So precious and invaluable it is!

  Right from the days of pregnancy, till a baby is born, the pains and care taken by a mother is no match to any words of praise. It is impossible to compare it with anything else in this world.

  We celebrate Mother's day to remember her. But the flowers and gifts given by us are incomparable to the love and affection she gave us during our childhood days.

  Mother is the one who gives warmth to her child. She bears everything for the sake of her child. Her arms are the ones that protect and care. She is the one who gives and not takes. Her sacrifice...it's so great! It's Unexplainable. She is the most patient and the one who prays for her child. She is the one who is most sincere and above all.

  Mother earth is also incomparable in the same way. She gave birth to living beings, arranged for food, shelter and comforts, for surviving in her atmosphere. But humans are never satisfied. They always look for more . This greed has led to the extinction of many plants and creatures that lived alongside us, in our environment.

 Human race has not spared the poor creatures, eventhough humans had the brains and ability to care for them. The atmosphere of earth is polluted without any care for these fellow living beings.

 The marine environment is especially exposed to agricultural waste, airborne particles and river run-off, which carries pathogens, heavy metals, organic pollutants, oils and radioactive substances into the sea.

 Rapid urbanisation coupled with increasing and unsustainable development of tourism in the sea coasts has contributed to significant environmental and health problems. Pollution from industry, shipping and households, the loss of open areas, and the destruction of coastal ecosystems for construction projects are also taking their toll.

  Is it possible for us to give Mother's care to these living creatures and precious plant species on this planet?

  Non-wastage of natural resources and non-pollution of atmosphere can play an important role in caring for our environment.

 Sacred texts, myths, literal truth, scientific accounts are alongside the formation of Earth. Today, the creation of Earth is reflected in the environmental movement, showing that Earth must be protected as is our only house to live. Don't we hear Mother Earths's cries? Ultimately, our target should be to try and repay the debts to her, as much as posssible.
