Motivational Poems
74A great tool to use to help motivate you while you're on your pursuit of obtaining a goal is motivational poems. They can help inspire you through the inspirational message that it portrays. Whenever you are chasing a goal, you will inevitably run into obstacles that you may not have expected. During these times, it's easy to wonder if you have what it takes to stand back up and keep going. Quitting is very easy, that's why most people quit. But that is also why most people will never have the life they truly want.
Motivation poems can help you remember the rules of success like when things are tough, you must not quit. Poetry itself has been written for centuries. It's a way to express one's thoughts and feelings in a unique way of writing. Like any other motivational tool, if you ever read a poem that inspires and motivates you, don't just look at it and do nothing. Act right away. It is only when you take action that your life can change.
Here is a motivational poem.
The Victor
by C. W. Longenecker
If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost.
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow's will.
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you are out classed, you are.
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of your-self before
You can ever win the prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But sooner or later, the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can.
Motivational poems like these can teach us valuable lessons like the one above. It talks about how what we focus on, we will find. If you are constantly thinking about why you always fail, you will keep failing. If you focus on why you are always broke, you will always be broke. You must learn how to focus on things that you want. If you want to have money, you need to focus on having money, not on being broke. The universe works in strange ways. Even if you focus on something you don't want, you will still get it. If this is the case, then make sure you focus on things you do want.

Motivational Poems Lesson
Profit From Failure
Unknown
The test of a man is the fight he makes,
The grit that he daily shows;
The way he stands on his feet and takes
Fate's numerous bumps and blows.
A coward can smile when there's naught to fear,
When nothing his progress bars;
But it takes a man to stand up and cheer
While some other fellow stars.
It isn't the victory, after all,
But the fight that a brother makes;
The man who, driven against the wall,
Still stands up erect and takes
The blows of fate with his head held high;
Bleeding, and bruised, and pale,
Is the man who'll win in the by and by,
For he isn't afraid to fail.
It's the bumps you get, and the jolts you get,
And the shocks that your courage stands,
The hours of sorrow and vain regret,
The prize that escapes your hands,
That test your mettle and prove your worth;
It isn't the blows you deal,
But the blows you take on the good old earth,
That show if your stuff is real.
When it comes to success, it's not about avoiding failures and setbacks. It's about standing up after you experience failures and setbacks. Those who succeed in life are those who are able to stand up and keep pursuing their dreams no matter how many times they are knocked down. On the other hand, failures are those who get knocked down, but instead of standing up, decide to stay down simply because it's easier.
No one ever said success is easy. It's not. That's why most people aren't successful. It takes work and determination. Because of this, having motivational resources like motivational poems can help bring you back up on your feet.
Motivational videos can be another great tool to use. Below is a video with the poem, "Don't Quit."

...i really need this, thank you very much for posting and sharing! this is awesome!:)...it recharged and boosted my energy to go on and accept that life is really not that easy, we should always work hard to get what we want and no matter what, just maintain the real good shape of our heart hmm..it should always be a perfect heart-shaped, not with rough and thorny surface full of negative things esp anger and grudges..:)...
like what they say- quitters never win! thank you very much for the motivation/inspiration...... :)
Interesting Hub!!!Thanks.
Thanks for the comments everyone. Now don't let any of that energy go to waste. Use it to take action on your dreams. Good luck.
