Motivation within a Team

To be more effective and achieve more in less time building a team is one of the most effective strategies and now with the globalization of the world this is become more important than ever, we can not be alone, if we want to achieve great results we need cooperation of people.

However motivation within a team becomes a very important issue, you need to maintain you team focused and motivated to achieve a common goal where everyone will benefit. To be motivated a team must have a goal, a strategy and drive.

When you have a strategy you have a clear plan of action on what has to be done, how it has to be done and that is going to maintain the team focused in achieving a common goal. If each of the members know what they have to do, they will be much more motivated.

The goal is very important, you have to keep track of each movement, of how much the team has achieved in a certain period of time and how much they have left. YOu need to keep track of how much time will the project take and when should it be finished.

Drive is something that has to come from within each person of the team, they need to love what they are doing or have a strong interest in what they are doing.

With a common goal, a strategy and drive the motivation of the team will be easy and everyone will do they work to achieve the goal.

Other things that you should be aware is that a team needs certian rules, you need to be very clear on what are the rules that everyone has to follow, if you fail to make that clear there could be many emotional conflicts within the team.
