Have you ever bought a motorcycle saddlebag and just can't figure out how to mount it to your bike? By the end of reading this page, you will be able to successfully be able to attach you saddlebags to your ride. The first thing you want to do is take your motorcycle saddlebags and place them where you want them on the bike to get an idea of where you want them. The next thing to do is use a temporary marker or masking tape to mark where to mount your brackets. Once your done remove the saddlebags then install the mounting brackets with the bolts that are include. The next step is very important, you MUST make sure that you measure where your saddlebags are going to attach to the mounting brackets. You'll want to double check your markings, so you don't drill the holes in the wrong place. When you are absolutley sure that the markings are correct, drill the holes needed. Finally using the bolts supplied attach the saddlebags to the mounting brackets and tighten the bolts. I hope that this has answered any questions on how to install your motorcycle saddle bags.
