Sloppy Joe recipe

Sure, you are probably thinking that Sloppy Joes don't take long to make; but are you using something called Manwich or similar sauce that you get from a can? But wait!!....There is nothing like a homemade sauce just simmering in your crock pot and smelling heavenly and I promise, will taste out of this world. Here it is!

What you'll need

2 1/2 pounds ground beef (browned and fat drained off)

1 yellow onion, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped very small

1 cup ketchup

2- 8 ounce cans tomato sauce

1 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Drop it in the Crock Pot

Add all above ingredients to crock pot

Cover. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.

Serve on sandwich rolls or hamburger buns

Easily makes 12 to 14 servings.....Enjoy!
