MP3 Player Comparison
73Which MP3 player is the best?
Are you looking to buy a new MP3 player and are not sure which one or what you should be looking out for?
I was also going through this around a month ago and asked the same questions. With so many MP3 players on the market and with some prices reaching astronomical levels whilst others seem to be to cheap they cannot be worth buying - what is the right decision to make?
Here are a few of my thoughts on whats hot and whats not!!
Zen 4Gb
Creative Labs MP3 Player Zen V 4GB
This is a great little MP3 player, small and holds 4 times as many songs as the little rival from Apple. It also boasts a colour display - ok maybe not as sharp as can be but for the price - its good.
Not the cheapest MP3 on the market but its good quality from a good company. The Zen V 4GB is a smart sexy little player and highly recommended for a versatile MP3 under £100.
Sony NWZ a818
Sony NWZ-A818
Sony have not ventured into the MP3 market until relatively late in the game but haver managed to capture some ground back. The Sony NWZ-A818 has an 8GB memory and again boasts a great colour display - good enough to view photos on. The controls are simple to figure out and user friendly. The size is also great, much smaller than previous 8GB players.
The headphones supplied are in my opinion great - great looking and good sound quality for the money.
iPod Touch 16BG
iPod Touch 16GB
The bee's knee's of MP3 players - I think so! When it comes to MP3 player comparison this model always has be top - well in my opinion anyway. The display and functionality of the iPod touch are second to none - really setting the level for things to come.
With 16Gb memory the iPod touch has more than enough space for all your music needs. So much space infact that you can easily store a few of your favorite films on there. The large screen also means that you don't need a microscope anymore to watch said film or to look at you favorite photos.
A bit pricey at around the 250 quid mark but what sets them apart from the rest in price also sets sets them apart in style, quality and innovation.
Apple fan or not you have to give it to the guys - a cool piece of kit!!
A great hub I've found on applications for the ipod touch to get even more out of you touch.
iPod Classic 160GB
iPod Classic 160 GB
This "classic" style ipod has probably the largest memory of any MP3 player on the market. We have seen the same design on many of the previous iPods but what makes the iPod Classic 160 GB stand out is that you can store your entire itunes library (well, for us normal users) on there and still have room for some films and photos.
Reasonably priced as well under 200 quid, a good buy for those who don't yet own a MP3 player and want to buy something to hold alot of information. Available in white or black.
iPod Shuffle
iPod Shuffle
Sorry if I seem to be blowing Apples trumpet at the moment but we have to give credit where credit is due and they deserve some credit once more for the new iPod Shuffle.
The smallest, sexiest, funkiest piece of kit to have hit the MP3 market for a while. Granted the memory isn't the largest in the world but using iTunes to upload isn't brain surgery and you have more than enough songs to get you through the day. The iPod Shuffle perfect size to take to the gym - and what do you know - a handy clip to clip it on to your clothing - genius!
A great price as well for a great piece of kit, now also comes in varying colours - although I think original silver is still the best!
Sandisk Clip
Sandisk Sansa Clip 2GB
A great little number from ScanDisk is the Sansa Clip 2GB. I suppose its ment to be competition for the iPod shuffle as it comes with a clip feature - In my opinion it isn't quite gonna cut the mustard. Its got a basic display that boasts all of around 7 colours. The display wheel is a bit of an Apple rip off to.
But all that said and done, you have to look at what the Clip 2Gb does offer -
Radio feature,
2GB Memory
A clip feature
and most importantly of all you can pick one up for under 35 pounds!!!
A must buy for the gym going saver!!

Is it just me or do these things get smaller in size, but bigger in capacity everyday! Technology is great. I loved the hub and if you get a chance check out my blog http://www.mp3playersreview.org/ I try to keep it updated with new information
