The Space Broadcaster Goes Wideband

It started out as an idea, the very thought that someone would like G|M's voice and that lxxy could make him look good during a radio show was a big gamble.

But it turns out, it paid off. Many of you liked it!

So, we will be broadcasting transmissions on some sort of regular basis, as time and circumstance allows. This page serves as a guide to the episodes thus far.

We will be updating it as the project progresses, but the topics we discuss are much in line with the whole "3100 Years Later" project.

The How, and Why

(Please note that you can type in http://www.megatronicradio.co.nr to get to this page at any time, thanks to .co.nr!)

To add a new dimension to our series of articles entitled "3100 Years Later" we took a gamble and created a pilot episode of "Megatronic Space Broadcaster Radio," in which we discuss different issues in a more direct manner.

The intent is to provide you with laughs, food for thought, and new musical experiences.

Thanks to nudging from frogdropping, Teresa, and many others (hey, really, THANKS EVERYONE!) it turns out that our voice isn't fit for just the marconi.

Episode I

Episode One:

"Our Lives in Transition"

In the first episode, which only lasts a little over nine minutes, we listen to two tracks by Tub Ring off of The Great Filter. We begin understanding "precepts," as in laws that are laws because people decided they were laws.

The intent is to help you understand what exactly is going on here today, what is causing so much of the issues. It's really simple, when you unravel it all: the will of the few is not the will of the majority.

Life is simpler than this, but we've built ourselves into an interesting problem, stacking beliefs upon beliefs upon beliefs and having to go back through them every once and awhile, re-writing rules, when it's much easier to not have rules to begin with.

It's a hard concept to grasp, but you'll get it by the end of the track. It's not that we're opposed to politics, or anything, really, it's just that it's not the only way. And it doesn't need to be, and it shouldn't be. It's not doing the world a lick of good right now.

You can download and preview it via zShare here: Our Lives in Transition

Episode II, Part 1/3

Episode II, Part 2/3

Episode II Part 3/3

Episode Two:

"Drugged Couture"

In the second episode lxxy explains psychiatry, and the myths and precepts surrounding it. We utilize a few "special guests" to demonstrate drugs and their couture...Ron White, another track from Tub Ring, and a clip from Coast to Coast AM.

By in large, this episode tries to show you that your ATTITUDE, not someone else's diagnoses, is the key to mental well being.

You will also find that nearly all of the "vocal popping" present in the first episode has been dealt with. The solution? A bog roll core and laundry softener sheets.

The format here has been evolved ever so slightly, and it now runs about twenty one minutes in length. lxxy wants you to know that you are special, and you need not worry about such invalid things as "self esteem" and "confidence." These are viruses of the mind, a cultural idea that simply exists because people decide they do.

It doesn't have to be that way.

By telling you over and over again that people get depressed, that people need help, that you're not intelligent, that only the experts know, we've run into problems with understanding ourselves and our own reality.

In case you didn't know, each one of us has a new set of perceptions and an individual reality.

You can choose not to believe this, and that is very well fine. But you're only fooling yourself.

You can download it here, again via zShare: Drugged Couture

Also, we have begun to frogdrop fan names. So far...

Episode III Part 1/2

Episode III Part 2/2

The Future of this Project....

Quite soon, we'll be venturing to put this stuff on YouTube.

And, within time, we will be showing people how to do this if they want to, via a series of articles on HubPages.

You have no idea how easy it is to be a DJ. I hope I can explain to you the tools, and how to use them, and it will be up to you from there.

As of right now, the transmissions have some technical issues but over time they will be hammered out, and again, we'll show you how.

This part of "hammering out" the sound quality takes a bit of depth, and it's not something you can walk into over night.

You can always stream each episode via MySpace, here is the profile for alienUplink.

We sincerely thank all of our patrons!

We've only just begun, and we hope we can make a difference in your lives!

I wish you the best. As you move to another level remember that life is full of ups and downs. It will not always be smooth. Prepare your mind to accept the trials and temptations of life. Good luck.

Thanks for recommending this. I really liked this hub. Loved the stuff by Ron White. As usual, it has made me do a lot of thinking and there are a lot of things I guess I never really thought about before.
