Currently, we have seen many expert advisors are based on neural networks and multicurrency EAs capable of adapting to any currency applied to it. The forex software is developing and the logics become full of twists and turns, while the results speak for themselves i.e. more profitable.

The majority of current expert advisors could be sum under either simple or regular EAs mostly dealt with single currency and optimized to current characteristic of applied currency. Furthermore, these EAs are often based on a popular trading strategy and its variation. Nevertheless, these EAs have become more profitable as well.

WHY IS MULTI CURRENCY EXPERT ADVISOR BETTER IN REDUCING RISK?

As we know diversification of your capital is a better way to go. Therefore, trading a single currency is just like putting all your eggs into one basket. We heard this many times and it goes true with forex trading. Trading multiple currencies with smaller lots is better than trading single currency.

Another advantage of trading multiple currencies in correlating pairs will help you hedge your positions. The correlating majors are EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF. Concurrently, larger profit can be achieved because of diversification.

Other important disadvantages of multicurrency ea are they are harder and much more complicated to develop and test. As of this writing, MetaTrader 4 strategy tester does not allow to test multicurrency at the same time. However, in MetaTrader 5 you are able to do multicurrency testing concurrently.

There are many factors to consider in developing such ea.

* The ea must be able to examine several currencies at the same time.

* The ea shall incorporate many trading strategies within the logics and codes.

* The ea shall be able to prioritize one currency over another.

Currently, there are only few developers that are able to pull this off.
