How to increase sales by multivariate testing

What is Multivariate testing?

Multivariate testing is changing more than one (multiple) variants (components) on a web page or sales page to achieve the maximum conversion rate for that page.

You may have heard of A/B testing or split-testing, but these types of testing only changes one variant at a time and makes the testing process a long drawn out tedious process. Using multivariate testing shortens the testing time considerably and is more precise.

A/B Testing

What variants can I change for testing?

You can change every component on a page.

The font, font color, font size, images, header images, headline, headline color, headline size, your call to action, the product description... the list goes on and on. It all depends on what tell it to change and how many changes you input.

Literally every component on the page can be changed!

What do I need to do the testing?

To utilize multivariate testing you need some special software that does the testing for you. The different softwares available are not all created equally. You need a "smart" software that will automatically change the components for you at random and one that knows what works.

Here is the neat thing though. If you use the right smart testing software, such as Muvar2008 it not only chages the variants you input, but it knows when a sale is made and it remembers what it was and will show that combination more frequently until aother sale is made. It keeps remembering the different changes that worked until the best conversion rate is acheived. This process can really make a major change in your income.

Imagine your sales letter on autopilot getting better and better with each sale!

Less traffic and more sales

Since your page gets better and better as the software learns what is working you can make sales quicker with less traffic. You still need traffic yes, just not as much as you would need if you were just doing split-testing.

It does not take as long either for the same reason above, the software learns what works and tweaks your page on autopilot without you having to do anything.

Conclusion

As you can see Multivariate testing can greatly increase your sales and profits all on autopilot.

Whether you have your own products to sell or you are just selling resale rights products you should implement this as one of your marketing tools.
