My dad, who means so much

Thank you dad, for being there

you truly care, so deeply

your love I can see and feel and always have and will.

There is nothing more, to adore, for a little girl than her dad.

happy father's day

Ever since I was a little girl, I thought you walked on water. I admired you and wanted to be like you. You were so smart, and such a great teacher, and you still are. You taught me to love to learn and to quest for more knowledge and look for truth. You loved to read and so do I. You taught me to have an open mind, and to speak my mind, but not insist on being right. You taught me to be a caring and empathetic individual.

In recent years, I know we grew apart for a bit. Please know that in my heart of hearts, that really wasn't so.

Now that I am a parent I truly appreciate all of your love and support throughout my life in everything i did, good or bad. You are such a great Dad. I love you very much. I now want for you to have all the things you gave to me.

Keep questing for knowledge, keep looking for your truth, keep teaching, keep reading!

Keep sharing of yourself to the world, because you are an outstanding person to know and love.

Happy Father's day.

thank you for submitting the request. It has been a long time since i have written, and thrive on hub requests with a little inspiration built in!

This was a great one, and as I am not usually a very open person, this allowed request gave me a chance to "go there". A truly heartfelt thanks!

Know your dad will love that you "told the whole world" how much he means to you. Cherish him! My father passed when I was only 32. My children never had a chance to know him. It's a wedge of loneliness in my life, and in my daughter's, that I'm aware of so often. Count your blessings!

Dad loved your words of love, and I love you for them. I wish I had written words like these to my dad your Gpa. I know in my heart he knew how much I loved him, but how much more touching it would have been to put that love and admiration in to words.  I am glad you are sharing your lovely talent of Words, and I am very proud of you, and I know your Dad is. Lovingly,Your momma

thanks mom, I feel blessed to have started writing again. It is not often I feel it okay to be heatrfelt, open and raw with emotions. But it felt very good to share my feelings on that deep of a level.
