If you are reading this article you probably have some idea what Monavie is and want to get a little more insight into what people's experience has been with the juice and the company. For those that are unfamiliar with it, it's a juice drink with a blend of juices with the acai berry being the most prominent. The company obtains these berries from Brazil using a special patented freeze-dry method to keep the product as fresh as possible before it is brought to your doorstep(FYI- the company does give back to the local Brazil communities through a special charity organization they created). The acai berry is considered a "super fruit" and has high concentrations of anti-oxidants( its many benefits can be read in further detail throughout the web, so I won't go into detail here on that). Monavie does however have different blends of juices containing other beneficial additives such as glucosamine in its Active blend and another blend called Pulse which is good for the heart, cholesterol levels and hypertension. There are four different blends all together and a special energy drink they have just come out with. Now, while all these healthy benefits of these juice blends are enough of a reason to try it, it's the business side of Monavie that really catches people's attention. Monavie is a Multi Level Marketing(MLM) company meaning that the individual drinkers can be part of the company if they introduce other people that are also interested in drinking the juice. Once you have introduced two people(sponsors) to the juice and they start drinking it, you than can make commissions on the juice that is being bought by them and the juice that is being bought by everyone they have introduced. From here, you continually make commissions on all bottles of juice that are bought by everyone under you. Every Friday you will receive a Visa Gift Card with your commissions on it. The reason this is all so interesting is that there is the potential to make a lot of money under this type of program. Most people under the program are just drinking the juice for its health benefits. Because of the success of the juice and its business model, Monavie is one of the fasted growing companies in the world and has made Inc. magazine's top 500 fastest growing private companies in the world.

Now, what are my thoughts on the product and the business? First I'll start with the juice. I actually like the taste of the juice and the more I drink it, the more I like it. Its not overly sweet but it is of a thicker consistency than most other juices, but remember you are only drinking 1 or 2 ounces at a time. The taste may not be for everybody but it's not bad and I think one can get accustomed to drinking it. Has it affected my health? This is really hard to say, just like it's hard to say taking vitamins makes a difference. I think it is, but I can't prove it. I've been drinking it for about 2 months now and I would say there have been 3 or more times I felt as if I was getting sick but it never amounted to anything. Did Monavie help? I don't know but if I don't get sick while I'm drinking it, I'm going to continue drinking it. I've also had problems with my knees. I'm a runner and I've had a nagging pain in my left knee for a few months. I don't have that pain anymore. I've been drinking the Monavie active with the glucosamine in it for these past two months. Did the Monavie cure it? I don't know, but if I continue not having knee problems, I'm going to continue drinking the juice. Am I totally sold on the juice as a miracle drink? Absolutely not, but can it be beneficial as a dietary supplement? Sure it can. It's packed with anti-oxidants. It has to be doing something. I tend to be skeptical about most miracle drugs or juices, but so far I have to say I've only had positive results since drinking Monavie.

Now on to the business side of the drink. The company, as I mentioned before, is a multi-level marketing(mlm) company. What I like about their particular make up as compared to other similar companies like Amway is that you only have to sponsor two people under you in order to make commissions on all the sales under you. The following chart will help you to visualize the set-up.

One's success will of course depend upon how much effort one puts towards telling people about the product and the company. If you're lucky you'll have a good support group and motivated distributors above and below you. Because of the set-up its beneficial for everyone to help each other out. If you have a strong enough team above and below you it's possible for you to make good money with only getting two sponsors.

My experience with Monavie so far has been very positive. No high sales pitch, just information on the product and the company presented in a very casual and polite way. My wife and I have decided to drink the juice because of its health benefits and let other people decide if they want to do the same. I've read the negative press on the juice and all the "scam" talk and yes there a few people on the top making alot of money but that's true in any large company. The way I look at is, why not drink a healthy juice product that may someday pay me to drink it. I like it, I tell other people about it, if they like it great, and if they don't that's ok too because I'm much better off drinking it than not.

In conclusion, I say read all the press, good and bad and make your own mind up what you think. There is an opportunity here for me with no real drawbacks. The worst thing that can happen is that I drink a juice full of antioxidants. I don't see this as a bad thing and in fact this is a win win situation as far as I'm concerned. I drink a healthy juice and have an opportunity to make a little extra money for the family.
