Battle the darkside with your mobile phone

A must have Symbian application for all Padawans and Jedi Knights
The Symbian S60 operating system has been well known for being an open platform and people with mobile phones can install all manner of useful apps and games, amongst the millions of apps out there for free includes the N95 Lightsaber app.
The app makes good use of the motion detecting feature built into the Nokia N95 (unlocked via the downloadable addon below), so when you slide your phone open it makes the sound of the iconic weapon powering up and idly hums whilst glowing green or red (or Light side or Dark side). Once you start waving the phone a round it will make the sound of a lightsaber being swung around.
Ultra Geeky or Ultra Cool? You be the judge, whilst this is a rather trivial application of the motion sensing abilities of todays mobile phones it isproving that developers are working with new abilities and we can anticipate some other inventive uses of accelerometers in the future!
May the force be with you!
- N95 Accelerometer Plugin
You'll need to install this to enable the N95's Accelerometer (motion detector), it also enables you to use many other motion detecting apps too! - Download N95 Lightsaber
Right Click and Save the target to your computer. Then install it on to your N95. - Comapre Mobile Phones
Where I got my N95 from, was able to get it rather cheap on contract too!
