Neetu Chandra or Nitu Chandra is another glam girl from Bihar. She was born in Bihar on 20 June 1984. She did her graduation in Delhi after completing her schooling from Notre DameAcademy in Patna in 1997.
She won Taekwondo black belt and have represented India in International Taekwondo Championship in Hong Kong. She was interested follow a career in showbiz. Neetu’s mother Neera supported her in her career ambitions. Neetu appeared in some videos and ads for reputed firms before she actually started her filmy career in 2005.
In her debut film Garam Masala in Hindi, she played a airhostess role opposite Akshay Kumar & John Abraham. Her second film was in Telugu titled “Godavari” in 2006. Both these movies were moderately successful at the box office. Then couple of Hindi movies in 2008 that included Traffic Signal. In the Hindi movie “Summer 2007” she did an item number. Now she is back in Telugu again with “Satyameva Jeyathe”. Her Tamil movie “Yavarum Nalam” with Madhavan released this year (2009) is hit movie down south including its Hindi version “13B”.
Currently she is doing Ram Gopal Varma’s “Rann” and Mundhra’s “Apartment” in Hindi.
Recently Neetu Chandra was drawn into a controversy when she did a erotic photo shoot for a magazine.
She was doing the photo shoot in bikini along with another bikini model and the two female bodies in bikini where in contact with each other. It was too hot to digest by some people.
