If You Only Knew
46If You Only Knew
Spring break is here. That makes me think of teenagers and parties. I, myself
personally had never actually attended a "real" party until I was maybe 25 years
old! Not all teens and young adults live as sheltered of a life as I did when I
was growing up. However, I heard many stories from friends of mine growing up.
Having parties when their parents were away, oh yea. If only their parents knew
what they were doing and what all was going on. Teens need guidance, correction
and support to help make them better adults.
I, myself was restricted from going to parties and to my friends' houses.
My parents let me have alcoholic beverages when they did during holidays, and
smoking just was not appealing to me. They did good raising me to stay away from
life's harmful things. I didn't get any direction as far as career choices
however. A friend of mine wanted to enter a fashion show. After constant
pleading with my dad for weeks before, he finally let me go through with it. I
grew up in a small town in M.O.. We did not even have a mall, just a few little
shops and a Wal-Mart.
Well, my friend was chosen to do a photo shoot for a local shop, I was the
only girl chosen for Wal-Mart. Now as a teen, I was so embarrassed to have been
the only one chosen by Wal-Mart that I turned them down! Looking back at this as
an adult, I realize that could have been the start of a fun, extremely
profitable, and exciting modeling career. I really wish my parents encouraged me
to accept it. I can only imagine the life I could've had. Sometimes teens need
to have an adult explain to them why something can be right for them.
I have a couple of girlfriends that had children too soon in their lives.
I have friends that started to smoke and have been living a life long battle
trying to stop. I've had buddies that started drinking and had alcohol ruin
their relationships and lives because of their addiction to it. Last but not
least, I've had buddies that were into all kinds of drugs, and some that have
died because of it, living a very short life.
Well now, there is a way thanks to technology, for parents to see just
exactly what is going on behind their backs. For the safety of their kids and
homes, a
hidden camera can capture it all! I have had several friends tell me
they wish that they had a bit more guidance and direction from their elders when
they were growing up. I must admit, myself and my husband have hid a
boyfriend/girlfriend in our closets once or twice! Guiding teenagers is
important. A
Built-In DVR hidden neon wall clock camera is an excellent choice to
help you see what you normally wouldn't. We have many others to choose from.
Check them all out today!
Yours In Safety,
Regina Jacques
