New Movie Reviews
58Movie Reivews in General
It seems like most people can not get enough movie reviews. Rotten Tomatoes is famous for their compilation of movie review experts. Box Office data hinges upon movie reviews and whether or not it is positive or negative review.
New movies that are being reviewed take precedence over old movies that are being reviewed. Why is that? More than likely, there are thousands of classic movies, that have not been reviewed in so long that the average movie watcher will never see. So how can one promote classic movies. Easy, write about the.
Imagine if major critics would write reviews on Lawrence of Arabia, Citizen Kane or Gone With the Wind. Would they still agree with that they or others said in the past? Probably. But, what it would do is promote the movie at the same time giving the younger crowd a better look at what was out there. Currently, there are merely only movie lists to inform the crowd of what once was.
How cool would it be to see the trailers of all these great movies - say they released them one at a time each week. And, they actually showed them in as many screens as say the God awful Snakes on a Plane. That would be great.
Citizen Kane would finally be appreciated for what they are rather than for what they were.
As for new movies and new movie reviews, most of them are surprisingly good. But, they often don't tell a user what to expect. What you usually get is -"yeah, i it was great!" or a long sentence explaining why they liked it. Ok, but what about me, what kind of movie is it. You don't like sci fi, so will I still like it? Still, at least we have reviews to guide us to what is best. But it may be best to let your peers guide you based on recent movie reviews.

i love your article. i doubt that what you wrote is bound to happen but still worth expecting. great job
A friend and I are scouting for a place to do just this. Start reviewing movies, but mixing in old movie reviews too. Maybe Hubpages is the place to be...
I would love to see a film festival for the classics -- complete with all the hype and publicity of a Sundance ... and with the reviews and buzz to go with it. I'd go. And I'd bring a date!
