The College Politico's new videos
52How Hillary Can Win
The first of the new videos I have just created deals with the strategy Hillary Clinton must employ in order to have a chance at the democratic nomination for 2008. Her popular vote lead is important in the new strategy and is her only real shot.
How Clinton Can Win
A new way to fight poverty
In response to decades of failed policy dealing with poverty I have come up with an interesting new way forward. If applied correctly we may well still win this fight.

Obama's New Connections to Extremists
I have just found out some new information on connections between Barak Obama and a terrorist sympathizer. Its shocking and it goes to show what kind of character and judgement Obama really has.

A month ago Steve, I could've seeen a way in which Hillary could've came back to win the nomination from Obama. That was before May 6 (IN and NC, but especially IN). After that primary, Obama started racking up superdelegate after superdelegate- now he leads Clinton by about 20 or 30 among the "supers." And after the Oregon primary, Barack received the majority of pledged delegates-- the superdelegates aren't going to overturn a delegate lead among primary voters.
I'll have to check the popular vote count between HRC and BHO because I'm not so sure if Hillary's really leading him in the popular vote. He erased her 200,000 net votes from PA with his victory in NC, and almost erased her big win in KY with his vote totals from OR. I think they should count all of FL's votes b/c Obama's name was on the ballot, but I don't know about MI's votes (since Obama's name wasn't on the ballot). I guess we'll see after 5/31 when they have that DNC meeting to decide what to do with FL and MI.
Regardless, I understand the popular vote argument. But the parties primaries are determined by delegates and Obama is only 50-75 delegates away from the 2026 he needs to win (if his 300 or so committed superdelegates stick by him). Jimmy Carter and a lot of party elders say this will be over June 3rd. Hillary's finished at least for this year. And the RFK comment pretty much kissed her chances of the VP slot good bye.
It's alright... they had a chance to nominate Clinton who probably would've beaten McCain in November, but hey, the Democrats are masters at throwing elections they should win.
