New Jersey Department of Education to implement Career Training Program

Strike up a big victory for the Critical Zone career training program. The New Jersey Department of Education shows their support for the Critical Zone career training program, led by Founder Alvin Perry (click here to a recent interview) by adding this career training program to their Personalized Student Learning Plans curriculum for the upcoming 2009-10 school year and beyond.

The Personalized Student Learning Plans represents a recently created two year Pilot program, where 16 schools, which includes 8 middle and high schools, have been selected to use these specialized learning programs, in hopes to foster a more personable learning environment for students. The Critical Zone career training program has to the opportunity to be a centerpiece for the success of the Personalized Student Learning Plan in the State of New Jersey, which has a statewide school enrollment of over 1.6 million students.

This achievement represents a continued rise in momentum for the Critical Zone career training program in their hopes of becoming a nation wide stronghold in career development. The Critical Zone career training program already receives foundational support from notable Foundations such as the United Negro College Fund, in regards to their Special Programs fund, and the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, in helps to enriching their Five Point Stragedy in developing tomorrow's leaders.
