Banks that are no Chex System Banks...

A checking and or savings account is an essential thing to have in today’s world. It used to be that one could still live a normal every day life without at least a checking account, but in today’s high paced and high tech society, it’s becoming more and more essential that you have at least one checking account.

Without an account, everyday life can become rather difficult, as you obviously know and as I first learned about two years ago. When you get trapped in Chex System the very first thing that you do is go about looking for a no Chex System bank in your local area, or at the very least some sort of alternative to keep your money safe, and be able to pay your bills properly.

The problem with going out on your own and trying to find banks in your area that will grant you an account while still being stuck in Chex System is that the internet is full of scammers and fake list providers just looking to make a quick buck of your troubles. I learned this the hard way first hand, and it took me nearly a year before I was able to finally find banks in my local area that were a no Chex System bank, that were FDIC insured, and that would approve me for a free checking account.

Because my initial reasoning behind releasing my guide in the first place was to make sure that other Chex victims didn’t have to go through what I went to get my accounts, I want to share a few tips with you that can greatly increase your chances of finding a checking account, AND greatly decrease your chances of getting scammed or getting into more trouble. I was scammed out of about $320 from just two sites promising me a way out of my troubles, so pay attention here guys…

1. Stay away from anyone trying to push some sort of online bank! These are NOT real banks and they are not FDIC insured. Not only do they not come with all the benefits of a normal checking account, but they are not real banks. Imagine having to mail off your deposit hundreds of miles away, never seeing any real locations, no real bankers…it’s not a safe way to hold your money. An online bank is not a no Chex System bank…because they are not real banks to start with.

2. Don’t over pay for a list of banks out there. Most of the list providers are total scam artists anyway, but the ones that are good should not be charging anywhere near what they charge. There’s no reason that you should pay more than $50 for anything.

3. Stay away from free list sites. This is one perfect example of the traditional saying “you get what you pay for”. Notice all the ads and banners on these sites! They make money off you clicking on their ads and banners. Their lists are not accurate and they are not updated. I had to learn this the hard way when I tried opening up a checking account at a bank that was supposed to be a no Chex System bank from these lists. I was rejected in front of everyone and it was rather embarrassing.

Take these little pieces of advice and use them to your advantage. They can really help you out of a jam and can help keep you from getting scammed or worse…in even more trouble when you’re out looking for a no Chex System bank.
