Most Americans are in the market for a loan modification. As you already know it is near impossible to receive a principal reduction through regular means of a loan modification. 8. General rule of thumb is: Does the customer have at least a 50% DTI after the deal is completed. If the answer is yes, then we can reduce their principal.
How can we do this?
We are backed by a hedge fund. The hedge fund buys distressed investments then liquidates them for a profit. In this case Most mortgages are distressed because they are upside down or defaulted on. This allows us to come in and by the distressed mortgages at a discounted rate, and since we only buy in bulks of 10,20,30 or more this gives us the purchasing power and the leverage to get the banks to liquidate their inventory at a discount. In turn, allowing us to make a profit while helping out the American homeowner.
