No Angels Tv Show

When No Angels TV show aired its first season in 2004 across the United Kingdom, nobody thought the TV series would be able to overcome the controversies that greeted it. By the end of its third season in 2006, critics and admirers alike were astonished to realize that yes, the show have had its share of issues, but it did, somehow, got the interest and loyalty of British TV viewers.

No Angels TV show would not be complete without the adventures, challenges, life plots, and sentiments of its characters. There are four of them, namely Kate, Lia, Anji, and Beth. Just like any other British and American TV series, viewers hung on because they see themselves in the characters portrayed in the show. Which of the four nurses can strongly relate to your own personality? Find out.

Kate - She was played by Kaye Wragg. Kate was the mother figure of the small group of four nurses. As the mother hen, she was very responsible, reasonable, and righteous. In No Angels TV show, she was the least-hated character in the duration of all three seasons. Her righteousness, somehow, prevented her from having a love life.

Lia - The character was played by Louise Delamare. Lia was a single mom, hard-bitten, cynical, and analytical of the group. Her kid daughter was always featured, oddly giving out profound wisdom, which irritated critics. The child seemed to think more advanced than children her age.

Anji - The Asian care assistant who was portrayed by Sunetra Sarker. She came to London in a weird turn of events. She was supposed to get into an arranged marriage back at her home somewhere in Asia. The fixed-marriage storyline irritated critics about her. Somehow, it was surprising to know that no Asian country violently reacted to this lazy cliché. Perhaps, Asian viewers were just disinterested on the show.

Beth - Played by Jo Joyner, Beth was the most hated and annoying character of No Angels TV show. Beth was a man-hater, feisty, confused, clever, and just plain annoying. Critics did not like the character from beginning to end. Perhaps, she was a reminder that, indeed, there are people out there who are as annoying and displeasing as her character was.

Overall, the show had its highs and lows. Whether it garnered a number of negative criticisms, it is noteworthy that the TV series endured three seasons, in an environment where TV programmes usually last just after one. No Angels TV show may have been hated during its run; but what the heck, Britain talked about it.
