Barack Obama - Hope is Fading Fast
63The Barack Obama rise to power was due to a fantastic public relations campaign aka election campaign. Millions of young voters, female voters, and "minority" voters were captivated by his campaign propaganda about "hope and change".
Now that the dust has settled, we see that it is the "same old, same old".
So, while I am an Obama-basher, I would have been a McCain basher, just as I was a Bush-basher, Clinton-basher, Bush-basher... and on back past Lincoln, the traitor who cemented into place the corporate-warfare-welfare state.
There are so many ways that America has and is going wrong, you will just have to look for other pages and comments of mine, for example, this Hub about overpopulation is a major ecological problem.

I just love it when you talk bluntly dabeaner - gives me goosebumps all over!
rb11: Don't get me started. It is too easy to get me into "rant" mode about the hypocrisy of this commie-fascist government. I am TRYING to increase my ratio of money writing to this kind of stuff. But I am weak; I keep falling off the wagon.
Madame X: Glad to be of help.
Revised layout -- added news clips and YouTube video "WHY I did NOT vote for Barack Obama"
There is a reason that businesses are not run as democracies - NOTHING would get done. Unfortunately our Congress does not get anything meaningful done either. My hope was that Mr. Obama would somehow be able to change that; to show some leadership; to make some changes..... So far the status quo has proven its resiliancy and we are still mired in the mud of partisan politics.
I long ago got very sick of politicians after working on two Republican campaigns. Ended up being a Democrat 16 years later. My bottom line is if a President leaves office and this country is worse off then when he assumed office, he failed. Partisan politics, status quo, herd mentality, greed, selfishness, corruption, on and on has led us into a mess. I am tired of having to choose between two evils when it comes to election time. I voted for Obama because soon as Palin was chosen it solidified my choice. I too hope for change from Obama but it has to be hard when all that is going on is back stabbing, finger pointing bs. How is anyone suppose to accomplish anything with the attitude that seems to be permeating around this country. I was called a communist by someone because I stated I was a moderate Democrat and that is just one incident. Respect for our fellow Americans seems to have been flushed down the proverbial toilet.
Hello mkott:
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, you have fallen prey to our rulers' strategy. One aspect of that is that each President WILL leave the country worse off than before. BY DESIGN. So some people then vote for the other party candidate with a mistaken belief they are voting for hope and change. By distracting you with partisan politics, the rulers are free to advance their agenda.
The rulers are NOT Bush Jr. or Obama; they are just spokeshole puppets. The rulers allow them to promote their hobby agendas -- e.g., saving the fetuses and guns (conservatives), saving the illegals and tortoises (liberals). Those pet projects have nothing to do with the rulers' agenda.
In case you didn't know, your rulers are behind the scenes. They are the owners of the banking systems and the large international corporations.

I believe these days the president is just a figurehead, the real powers are faceless. When Paulson was asked to become sec of the treasury, he had to sell all his stock with Goldman Sachs, little know is he had a profit-(key word), of 200mil dollars. Of this he had to pay ZERO dollars in taxes because he was appointed a white house position. You and I on the other hand will be jailed if we don't claim $500.00. This is what our system has become.
