THE BEST THERE IS--Scenic Views, Good Friends, Favorite Bikes

THE NEED TO RIDE

What to do at end of a stress filled week? Feel the need to ride in fresh air and open spaces? Would you enjoy the wonderment of miles of sparcly inhabited national forests, waterfalls, hiking trails and pristiine views of coastal lighthouses and sandy beaches?

All of this and much more can be experienced on a motorcycle cruising down the Big Sir Highway. Big Sur is also known for its long sweepng straits, tight at times with sudden blind ,but smooth corners. The breathtaking views are at times undescribable. As you travel up and down and all around this incredible highway--there is a little bit of everything for motorcycle enthusiasts. Natural Landscape--Bridges--State Parks--Lighthouses and Beaches--Restaurants--Sparcely Spaced Refueling Stations

A particularly noteworthy portion of Big Sur extends 125 miles from Monterey to Morro Bay, California. An enchanting day trip lurks ahead, but don't forget to fill up with gas in Carmel which is the last major oasis at Rio Rod if traveling southbound or in San Luis Obisspo, Morro Bay or Cambria if traveling northbound.

Breathtaking views abound from many coastal restaurants. VIEWERS BEWARE! Prices most often match the quality views of sandy beaches, creek spanning bridges or canyons of redwood groves. Three outstanding restaurants are the Rocky Point, Nepenthe and Ventana. Simple, unique and satisfying menus at each culinary stop.
