During your visit to be sure to stop at the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. It is Robert Ripley's original museum and has oddities from his personal collection. It is fun for all ages to explore his unbelieveable collection. There are over 800 items throughout the museum. The museum itself its a mansion built in 1887 and used to be a hotel. It was featured in the Ripley's Believe It or Not television show. There is also a wonderful gift shop with merchandise from all over the world . The museum is open 365 days a year and I am certain you'll enjoy it.

The Fountain of Youth is the nation's first historic site. Ponce De Leon hoped this pre-historic Indian spring would be his fountain of youth. You can see the landmarks and the original colony of St.Augustine. There are also exhibits that depict the Spanish claim to North America. The Park is located on Magnolia Av which was voted one of the most beautiful streets in America.

The Potter's Wax museum was voted #1 American wax museum. It has over 160 figures in 7 themed galleries. There is also an on site wax studio. After your tour you can also sign the guest book and request a figure that you'd like to see in the museum. A few of the current figures are Micheal Jordon, George W. Bush, Elvis Presley, Princess Diana, biblical characters, and Johnny Depp as Captian Jack Sparrow.

The historic district has over 200 specialty shops and some great restaurants. You can find anything from indian shops,candy shops,art galleries,pirate shops,cigars from around the world and lots more. The Oldest Drug Store is also located nearby. Stop in and see what the doctors and pharmacies used to treat people in the seventeen and eighteen hundreds. You won't believe it. Your kids will enjoy the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse where lifesized figures tell you what classes were like.
