I wrote this hub since there was a feedback from another hub I wrote entitled jobs for 15 years old. There are many teenagers who are looking for jobs and they are getting troubled to find one. What is interesting is that many teenagers don't believe that they can get money from doing online job. Many of them refuse online job offer and wish to get real jobs, so I thought why those kids say that online job is not a real job. Anyway, in this hub I am not going to offer you an online job but I will let you know more about how people can get money from the internet, especially as a teenager.

Let's go to the point. I would say that real online jobs refer to any kind of job which is done using the internet as a media and you get your payment as how it has been agreed before. The last phrase is really important, real online jobs should pay you with real money. Now we all know that there are many liars on the internet who are looking for a prey. By referring to my definition about real online jobs, then we can recognize those liars.

Stay away from people who ask for initial payment to process your online job. Any kinds of job offer that requires you to send money is a scam. This is the most important rule. Giving your parent' credit card number is also dangerous. Another kinds of scam is multilevel pyramid scheme, in which you are offered to send a small amount of money and to invite other friends who are interested to send the same amount of money too. You will get paid according to the numbers of friends who have joined in. This is totally a scam and never take part in it.

Job offer comes after a demand. This applies also in the internet. There are many people who need nice and good website template and so web designers are needed. While web designers may not good in taking photos so they order an image from a photographer. Lots of people want to do e-commerce and they ask programmer to work on it. Some other people can't write good enough and they buy articles from copy writers or content writers. 

That is just a glimpse about kinds of jobs on the internet. The good news is that you are not required to show your college certificate, your ID card or any other license. Even though you are still 14 year olds but if you are good in taking pictures, your submitted photos might be bought from iStockphoto or Fotolia. If you are good writer, there are numerous of website owner who are willing to pay $5 to $15 for four to five paragraph article which you can create in 20 minutes.

If you think that you are not good in what I have mentioned before, then you can take some other easy jobs such as being forum poster or filling in online survey. Forum poster is anyone who is get paid by posting in certain forums. There are many website owners who are too busy for promotion and so they are paying people to promote their website in certain related forums. All you need to do is to register yourself in many forums and get noticed by posting good feedback which points to certain websites. Anyone can do this job.  

You will need your parents' or older people's help when you are to receive payment. This is what makes it different to jobs at the restaurants or groceries where you get paid by cash. Generally, you might be paid by bank transfer, cheque, or electronic money transfer such as PayPal. It is not that difficult to process as long as you know the procedure of how it works. Once you receive your first payment, the next will be so easy.

Now I believe this has been a big questions for many teenagers, are we getting paid by completing online survey? The answer is simply yes, according to each survey companies' terms and conditions. There are lots of companies who need feedback regarding their products and so they need information from survey to improve their products or services. Therefore, they pay survey companies for online survey which is targeted for certain people with certain age, within certain area. This is how the online survey works.

The problem is probably many teenagers don't really read the terms of condition when they participate in an online survey. Some of the points are you would get payment after your balance reach a certain amount of money. In order to receive your payment you need to fill in the online survey occasionally. That is why online survey could only give you pocket money, because it is a kind of job that many people can do it easily.

Do you know that you can sell stuffs on ebay? You can try to sell things by yourself. If you don't have things to sell, then you can sell other people's things. You can ask your grandparents whether they have stuffs to sell. Then you can also ask your neighbors if you can help selling old or unused stuffs on ebay. Grandparents or old people might not understand the internet as you do so this might be a job opportunity for you. 

I hope now you get a bigger picture about what kinds of work you can do on the internet. There are still many kinds of online jobs which you can do because I only mention few of them.

However, yo should be careful when you are offered some easy jobs such as typing job or other kinds of simple jobs which require you to send some money first.
