Network marketing gives the average person a chance to be debt free and live the life of their dreams - but, too many people fail. Why is that? Is it because they don’t work hard enough, or their belief system is not strong enough? That’s what the old school network marketers try to tell us.

Your point of contact is the marketing material you personally produce or pay someone to produce for you. It can be articles you write, videos you produce, Pay Per Click ads, ezine advertisements, etc... The possibilities are endless.

Once you have your stuff out there, and you are using proper search engine optimization the search engines begin to notice you as a contributor and you will start to notice more and more of your stuff as you surf, and so will your prospects. As your prospects find you they will follow your links and end up on your site.

This is where you want to capture their contact info by offering them something of value to sign up for free like The 7 Great Lies report, a free tour of your system or whatever you can think of that would get them to give you their information, but it has to correspond to what they see at your point of contact.

For instance, you can’t write an article about an exotic vacation, and then try to give them an e-book on marketing; your prospects would not perceive that as value.

When you start getting prospects on your list you will want to stay in contact with them, just like your local supermarket sends out flyers. You want to send out value to your target market. What you send out will depend on your market. If you are trying to market to network marketers you would send out things that would interest them, like an article about a new tool you found that helps you grow your business. By being an affiliate of that tool when your prospects decide to buy it you will and earn a commission adding monetization strategy to your marketing plan.

Monetization of this kind in your business model pays for all your advertising while you build your network marketing business. Affiliate network marketing can mean the difference of success and failure. It could be what keeps your business running while you wait for your MLM to start paying out.
