Well, this weekend did not go well.

I was on my way to a paint job when I realized I forget some equipment in the garage. I thought about just doing what I could without the certain things I forgot, but reconsidered when I decided that I would probably work at least a ten hour day.

On the interstate I made the decision to turn back. I got off on the exit I wanted to and decided to take the back roads back to the garage.

BAM!!! Some guy in a pickup ran the stop sign a few blocks off the interstate on my safe backroad, and put me in the hospital for the day with a wrecked van to boot.

My forgetfulness, his carelessness, and my decision to turn around cost me at least five hundred bucks for that day alone.

Plus the guy had no proof of insurance.... I contacted my insurance and they said "No problem, we will get right on it."

4 days later, here is my van at the tow lot, and I am painting out of a Nissan!!!!

This is not going to work...

The moral, have a backup work truck if you depend on a vehicle for more than just transportation.
