Pacquiao VS De La Hoya Fight

December 6, 2008 – MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will face Oscar “The Golden Boy” De La Hoya on a 12 round, non-title fight at the 147-pound welterweight limit.

A lot of boxing fanatics and boxing experts were so much excited for this upcoming fight:The Dream Match: Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao VS Oscar “The Golden Boy” De La Hoya. Rumors were spreading that this match will be the ultimate boxing fight of the year. A great fight indeed, two boxing superstars and world champions will face each other in the ring. But, many people says that why the hell on earth this two boxers which came from different boxing divisions would fight in the ring? Knowing that their statistics were two different from each other. Whatever the reason it is, this fight will be interesting and worth to watch for.

Boxing experts says that this fight will be the first fight of Pacquiao which people treat him as “underdog” knowing that Dela Hoya was bigger and taller than him. People now were betting on Dela Hoya. But, Pacquiao will surely do his best on this fight. He’s more powerful and faster than Dela Hoya.
