tips on how to minimise menstrual cramps

If your a women who suffer from painful period on a monthly basis than like most women you will dread when that times comes. Here are some of the things i have tried, as myself i have very painful pain for years which would stop me from working, going out etc. the following are not cures but as help me reduce cramps.

1. Drink 3 cups of camoline tea 3 times a day before and during your period (this can be found in your local health shops or supermarkets.

2. The days leading up to your period, avoid sugary food such as sweets, chocolate etc.. if you must eat chocolate have organic but keep this to a minimum. when your actually start your period avoid sugary food and instead eat banana - it has that same feeling as chocolate has its high in potassium.

3. Eat seafood such as tuna, prawns etc.. at least 3 times a week, cut back on red meat.

4 Get in the habit of eating wholegrain food, such as rice cakes, cereal containing whole grain

5 Eat 5 portions of fruit and leafy vegetable.

6 Magnesium is a muscle relaxant - a supplement can help reduce pain

(try the above for a month or two before your next period)

Those of you who use the Methanamic acid tablet which is prescribe by your doctor may find that sometimes the tablet works and sometimes it doesn't- personally i find that this will work work if you eaten enough before hand.

How to prolong the time before your next period.

A study shows that Japanese women who consume 1 and a half to 2 serving of soya contain products a day find that this lengthen the time before their next period is due. This also results in less estrogen and less risk to breast cancer. i have tried this myself and have drunk 2 carton alpro soya milkshake which is 250ml each carton and before i drunk this every day, my period would come every 24 days from my last day of my period until the first day of my next cycle. Soya contain products comes in forms of soya milk, soya deserts, tofu and the soya beans itself but i prefer the soya milk shakes instead which comes in different flavours of chocolate, banana and strawberry.
