Paula Abdul's sad love life
77
Paula Abdul has had her fair share of success. Throughout her music career – which spanned over a decade – she’s won a Grammy Award and has sold millions upon millions of albums. She has also worked in television and film as a choreographer and won an Emmy award for her choreography work on the Tracy Ullman show and another Emmy for more choreography work on the 17th Annual American Music Awards.
She hit a slump in the mid-to-late 90s – which including treatment for an eating disorder among other things – but quickly made her way back into the spotlight when the insanely popular American Idol premiered in 2002, where she judges contestants based on their singing ability, along with fellow judges Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell. American Idol is still running as of this writing (2007) and is as popular as ever, if not more so.
So with a very successful music history and a smashing success of a television show on her hands, life must be pretty sweet for Paula Abdul. Or is it? Despite all of her professional success, Abdul has actually had a largely unsuccessful love life.
Abdul married actor Emilio Estevez (son of Martin Sheen; brother of Charlie Sheen) in 1992, but the couple got divorced two years later over an apparent disagreement over children. Abdul apparently wanted to have kids, which Estevez did not. So, they parted ways.
On Valentine’s Day of 2006, Abdul appeared on a special primetime episode of Dr. Phil that focused on love and relationships. On the program, she was set up on two dates (what if the first date went great?) and Dr. Phil McGraw gave her advice.
It’s certainly been a rough road for her. There’s no telling why Paula Abdul’s love life is so terrible, but maybe it’s because of appearances like these:

paula you are o beautiful
paula my love is only for you!!!
She was compatible with Emilio in some ways. They're both "7".s and that usually works out, plus her moon is ahead of his. However, if you look closely at their astrological charts you can see that their probably both a little OCD, and don't like compromises, most likely in their personal lives. I believe Paula suffered from Bulemia for awhile. She is probably bipolar as well, as in her astrological profile she has a modified Kalaparusha Yoga
l love paula, l think she is actually the best thing that happened to american idol.

Paula seems to be having a real fun time with the anchor women in this interview. She just might be a real down to earth character outside of the workplace and it is spilling over here. I didn't see the Dr. Phil segment, so I don't know if work is taking up a big chunk of her time. Traveling around the continent with American Idol doesn't allow much time for long term romancing. I wish that she and Emilio Estevez could have stayed together. They made an adorable couple. I wish her all the luck in the world in finding a mate and believe he would be lucky to have her. I just want the media to let up on her, let her live her life and do her job. She is attractive, mega talented and ultra successful and people are sometimes jealous. I am sooo glad she was chosen as a judge. Thank you Simon Fuller. Good Luck and Godspeed in all your future endeavors Paula.
