How and Where to Start Your Search for People

This new hub page is about how to find people and old school friends, using the formidable power of The Internet!

Did you know that even professional investigators - - law enforcement agents and private detectives use Internet-based search systems similar to those we'll be showing you in just a few minutes?

Yup. It's true. So when you are searching for old class mates, school and college friends or even long lost loves or missing family members, remember this: You are in very good hands here. Dedicated people have created search and lookup systems for 'peoplesearch' tasks that dig deep into county, state and federal government records. These are classed as Public Records. Other phone-based search systems look automatically for you into massive, combined 411 telephone directory databases for almost the whole of North America, and some international locations.

Now in this century you can join the millions of people in the U.S. using the world wide web to trace and track down old school friends and even to make some new friends. But you can make it tons easier on yourself by using a hi-tech People Search lookup service rather than a general search engine like big old Google or Yahoo!

So, have more online fun finding out exactly what did become of your old school classmate or college friend (or your military buddy from the US army, navy, marines, USAF., whether in the states or living on an offshore island military base?) Wouldn't you just love to find out? Imagine connecting with them again, on The Internet. Imagine all the times, experiences and stories you could now share!

A word about address history. Try to find a searchable database system that provides you not only the current address of your missing friend, but his/her history of addresses. (One system I like that does this is called ReverseMobile. - see below, in links.)

it's absolutely exciting when you do a person search on a huge integrated, yet dedicated database of personal information. You can find who or what you're looking for in seconds. Also, you not only get their current address information, you can often get historical data too. You are then able to find not only where the person is living now but also where the family lived and worked before that. A history of American addresses covering many counties, states and U.S. cities. Reverse Mobile online always attempts to supply you a Full Background Report on the person and no other online system is able to do this, as far as I know. I think that's why I love it so much.

Court records and findings, and The Criminal Background Check component of the web service can help you find out which county jail they spent most time in! Was it Miami-Dade county jail or Palm Beach? Yeah, I'm joking, but this kind of information is readily available when you register with Net Detective and start your investigating online! Wow!

Simplicity in the searching interface is good. You'll find the better services, such as Net Detective, are beautifully intuitive - learning *how to search* will make sense to you as soon as you look at the web page. But 'PLUS' services will also provide you with extra, in-depth searching. If you ever need the extra searching capability, it might need you to dig into it a little bit more - before you can fully use the Search System like a pro P.I. Just relax and take some time to read the system's instructions. Then investigate like a Pro P.I. or FBI agent.

Just locate the link to this search system immediately below in the useful web sites and resources section. I like this peoplesearch investigator system tons. It will get you the info you really want. Everyone loves it. Geoff.

Yes I'm rapt in the Hub Pages system! It is oh so simple to use and has instructions on how to get more web visitors to your hub or blog. I think it's more like a blog because of this comments adding facility. I love meeting people throught the hub pages system too! Geoff
